• Commence the feasability study for the Victoria Point Bypass at a total cost of $500,000.

• Allocate money out of $17.5 Million fund to upgrade the Southern Moreton Bay Island ferry terminals.

• $3.4 Million in 2018-19 to complete relocation and upgrade of the Victoria Point Bus Station on Cleveland - Redland Bay Road, at a total cost of $7.2 Million.

• Minor intersection upgrades at Anita Street on Cleveland - Redland Bay Road at a total cost of $5 Million.

• $1.8 Million in 2018-19 to complete design of the Eastern Transitway at a total cost of $22 Million.

• $771,513 in 2018-19 to commence pavement widening on Redland Bay Road (Sheldon), at a total cost of $4.2 Million

• $1.5 Million to continue safety improvements at the Mount Cotton Road and Sanctuary Drive intersection, at a total cost of $4.5 Million.

ENVIRONMENT, THE GREAT BARRIER REEF, SCIENCE AND THE ARTS

• The Palaszczuk Government is providing $2.5 Million in 2018-19 to provide new recreation and visitor facilities, infrastructure and equipment to support the North Stradbroke Island initiative.

• The Palaszczuk Government is providing $600,000 to protect environmental and Indigenous cultural heritage values in Stradbroke Island, as part of the $12 Million Queensland Indigenous Land and Sea Ranger Program.

• $1 Million for the Moreton Bay Artificial Reef.

• $11 Million for Quandamooka Coast including Whale Watching Centre.

EMPLOYMENT, SMALL BUSINESS AND TRAINING

• $1.384 Million in 2017-18 as part of $5 Milliom over five years to support North Stradbroke Island workers employed by Sibelco being impacted by the phasing-out of sand mining.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT

• $641,296 as part of a $916,137 commitment over two financial years to construct Stage 2 of the Redlands IndigiScapes Centre expansion.

• $1,245,000 of $4,250,000 to construct a new building - 3 learning areas and 2 Specialist spaces at Alexandra Hills State School.

• $2,646,000 of $14,700,000 to construct a new building - 14 learning areas and 4 specialist areas at Cleveland District State High School.

• $380,000 of $6,000,000 to construct a new multi-purpose hall at Cleveland District State High School.

• $1,600,000 of $2,000,000 - Refurbish Manual Arts at Cleveland District State High School.

• $1,000,000 of $1,000,000 - Refurb 2 Old Perm Teaching Blocks at Dunwich State School.

• $1,200,000 of $1,200,000 - Refurbish 6 Buildings at Russell Island State School.

• $10,000 each for Redland Bay and Bayview State School Gardens.

• $100,000 of $100,000 - Shade sails at Mt Cotton State School.

• $50,000 of $50,000 - Planning for upgrade to open play area at Mt Cotton State School.

• Begin planning work for the $10 Million upgrade to the Alexandra Hills

• $375,000 in 2018-19 out of a $1.4 Million total spend to upgrade the Redland Hospital, including a new water birthing suite in the maternity unit and four additional beds in the Emergency Department.

• $701,650 in 2018-19 out of a $865,000 total spend to replace the fire indicator panels and emergency warning intercommunications system. Part of the Priority Capital Program at Redland Hospital.

• $2.4 Million in 2018-19 out of a $2.7 Million total spend to implement Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMV) to the warm water loop system. Part of the Priority Capital Program.

• Grant funding is $1,042,988 as part of a $3,128,948 commitment over three years to provide health services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

• Two new Queensland Police vessels that will improve capability and response times.

• $1.95 Million to Maybanke Accomodation and Crisis Support over 5 years.
