About the NAHJ Conference
The National Association of Hispanic Journalists’ International Training Conference and Career
Fair will take place July 18-21, at the InterContinental Miami. The NAHJ conference is the nation’s
largest gathering of Hispanic journalists. More than 1,000 journalists and media executives from
across the country are expected to attend.

NAHJ’s conference hosts the largest job fair for Hispanic journalists. The career fair provides
opportunities for media organizations, non-media organizations, non-profits and government
agencies to interact and recruit many of the nation’s most respected journalists. The conference
will also showcase training opportunities in the career resource center, feature discussions with
prominent authors and host a press conference center for organizations that deal with the Hispanic
community.

Press Credential Information

Press credentials to cover the NAHJ 2018 Conference will be restricted to journalists who are
assigned to cover the event. Credential applications must be submitted via email to
ba@veritasaustin.com by 5 p.m. on Friday, July 10th. Only a limited number of credentials will
be granted.

Please bring a letter of request signed by your supervisor on company letterhead to the conference
on the day you choose to cover. This letter must be presented to receive press credentials.

Press Check-In
Credentials must be picked up daily at the press booth located in the registration area near the
entrance to the conference. Please bring your letter of request signed by a supervisor to the press
booth when you pick up your credentials. Press passes are only valid for one day.

Broadcasting Live at the Convention

Companies seeking to broadcast their radio/TV program live from the conference must apply for
credentials as indicated above. Credential applications must be submitted for each person working
on the broadcast. Credentialed broadcast media must then contact BA Snyder at
ba@veritasaustin.com to make all logistical arrangements, including audio-visual needs, and will
be responsible for their own audio-visual costs.

Acceptance and Notification

NAHJ reserves the right to decline any requests for credentials. Applicants requesting press
credentials will be notified of their credential status via e-mail upon receipt of the application form.

INSTRUCTIONS

Press credentials to cover the NAHJ 2018 Conference will be restricted to journalists assigned to
cover the event.

Credentials must be submitted via email by 5 p.m., Friday, July 10th. Requests for
credentials may not be accepted after the deadline and only a limited number of credentials will
be granted.

Please complete and email this form to ba@veritasaustin.com. In order to receive your press
badge, you will need to show at the conference a letter of request signed by your supervisor on
company letterhead.
