20th-21st November 2013 – 20TH ANNIVERSARY DOA

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I am pleased to invite you to attend our next Part 21 Design Organisation Approval (DOA)
Implementation Workshop to be held at the MARITIM HOTEL KÖLN, “HALL 01/MARITIM”
Conference room, Heumarkt 20, 50667 Köln, Germany, on 20th – 21st November 2013.

On 1 November 1993 the first issue of JAR-21 including DOA requirements was published. 2013
marks the 20th anniversary of the DOA concept in its current form and will be celebrated during
our Part 21 Design Organisation Approval (DOA) Implementation Workshop.

The objective of the workshop is to give to Authorities staff involved in EASA DOA and Industry
representatives an update on EASA Design Organisation (DO) Section working procedures. It will
also specifically focus on several subjects of significance to be shared equally between Authorities
staff and EASA Staff working in a DO environment and the Industry representatives.
In order to build a challenging agenda and to determine the “hot topics”, you, as participants, are
invited to submit your proposals sending an email to Ms. Olga VEISZ (olga.veisz@easa.europa.eu).
Deadline for submissions: 15/10/2013.

Industry representatives are encouraged to bring their contribution and make presentations during
the workshop on issues they encounter in context of DOA implementation. (see published
document “Call for Industry Papers”);
Deadline for submissions: 15/10/2013.

Welcome of participants will start at 13.00 PM on the first day; the second day the meeting will
start at 09.00 AM and is scheduled to finish at 17.00 PM.

Registrations:
-The National Aviation Authorities staff is invited to complete the registration form available
on the EASA website (Events), and to submit it via e-mail, to christina.tolis@easa.europa.eu
before 31/10/2013.

-The Industry representatives are invited to complete the online registration using the EASA
tool Webshop (under our DOA event on the EASA website) before 31/10/2013.
Clicking on “Industry representatives – Online registration” you will be able to register
yourself. An administrative fee of EUR 125,00 will be charged per person.
After the payment you will receive an email confirmation of participation.

We remind you that only 2 representatives maximum per organisation can be registered to the
workshop. Any additional representative(s) working for the same organisation and registered to
this workshop will see his/her registration cancelled before the workshop.
The workshop is limited to 300 participants.
