Project Title Facade

Section 1: Rationale (Approx. 100 words)

Throughout the course I have learned many new things including learning new things about
camera techniques, editing techniques such as masking, J and L cuts and much more, after
effects software thanks to my tutor’s lessons that he ran to teach us about the extremely
complex software which has allowed to make some very complicated but successful edits of
projects including my music video and the dead man walking intro. All these skills that I
have picked up while on the course has led me to have many ideas for my final project

Section 2: Project Concept (approx. 200 words)

The idea that me and my partner have for our final project is a drama/comedy simply about our
friendship group I college. We plan for it to be around 15 - 30 minutes long and in that time we will
provide a slightly fictionalised but relatable film about the struggles a teenager goes through in the time
at around 16- 17 years old while providing smart and relevant comedy one would find in the everyday
lives of a teenager. we to keep it quite light hearted while still exploring quite controversial and serious
subjects such as drug abuse and mental health with students about my age. My partner and I both enjoy
and are well educated in the sort of typical British comedy that we are trying to show in our film. In TV
programmes such as “The Inbetweeners” and “skins” contain the same type of comedy that we are
planning on showing in our film and the reason we have chosen this because his is the type of comedy
that I grew up watching as a child and this is why I am fairly confident in having a film with this type of
comedy despite the fact that many people who watch it will not find it funny at all.

Section 3: Evaluation Methods (approx. 50 words)

UAL Awarding Body Level 3 Diploma Project Proposal Doc.

I feel the main way me and my partner will evaluate our work and whether or not we are
doing it right is too conduct as much research as possible and make the we are making the
right thing for the demographic we are trying to make it for. We will record every major
decision made on our websites so that we can revisit every decision we’ve made and see if
it was the right one. The fact we are working as a pair may have both a positive and
negative impact on this project because while it means we will be able to talk about
whether a decision was in fact the right one but it may become clouded on whether or not
we both did enough work so we plan to document each thing we did as individuals on our
website and state how we used them together in our final project

Project Action Plan and Timetable

This section provides you with an opportunity to outline your planning and organisation over a period of
weeks, and the activities you will need to carry out in order to successful complete your project within the
agreed time frame. It is important that you consider how you will balance ambition, time and realism in the
realisation of the project.
This should include what you are going to do, how you will do it and by when. The more time and thought you
give to
planning your project, the more successful it is likely to be. Remember to include: time spent sourcing
materials,
questionnaires, access to workshops, tutorial and peer group feedback, and where you will incorporate
independent study
