how do you go into advanced boot options if usb ports don't work except for first 5 seconds of
startup and dont have a place to plug in non-usb keyboard into computer?

What if you never get to the blue choose an option screen with those options? I have tried 3
times now to hold the shift key and click restart.

Every time I have had to wait 15 minutes or more with my finger on the shift before it says
please wait and every time I never got to that choose an option screen. I have tried 3 times and
nothing works.
