Embarkation: Chile (CL)

Destino: República Dominicana (DO)

Passport for Dominican Rep.

Passport: Passport required.

Document Validity: Passports and other documents accepted for entry must be valid for the period
of intended stay.

Minors: Passengers younger than 18 years leaving the Dominican Rep., must hold an
Exit Permit signed by both parents and authorized by the Immigration
Authorities in Dominican Rep. or representation of Dominican Rep. abroad.
This applies to:a. Residents of Dominican Rep. and traveling:- unaccompanied;
or- with an adult other than a parent or legal guardian; or- with only one
parent; orb. Minors leaving with different person than they have entered with,

if being:- nationals of Dominican Rep. residing abroad; or- foreign minors

whose parents are nationals of Dominican Rep.; or- foreign nationals.
Passengers younger than 18 years traveling to the Dominican Rep. with 1
parent or with an adult other than parents must have a notarized letter of
authorization signed by the absent parent or both. This only applies for stays of
more than 30 days. They must depart with the same adult they entered with.

Visa: Visa required.

Visa Exemptions: Nationals of Argentina traveling as tourists.

Health for Dominican Rep.

Health: Vaccinations not required.

Recommended: Malaria prophylaxis. malaria risk, exclusively due to P. falciparum, exists

throughout the year especially in rural areas of the western provinces such as
Dajabon, Elias Pina and San Juan. Risk in other areas is low to negligible.
Recommended prevention in risk areas: B.

In Timatic, the recommended type of prevention is referred to as: - Type A (very

limited risk of malaria transmission) - Mosquito bite prevention only.- Type B
(risk of P. vivax malaria only) - Mosquito bite prevention plus chloroquine
chemoprophylaxis.- Type C (risk of P. falciparum malaria with chloroquine and
sulfadoxine-pyrimethamine resistance) - Mosquito bite prevention plus
atovaquone-proguanil or doxycyline or me oquine chemoprophylaxis.- Type D
(risk of P. falciparum malaria plus reported multi-drug resistance) - Mosquito
bite prevention plus plus atovaquone-proguanil or doxycyline or me oquine
chemoprophylaxis, depending on local drug restistance.Chemoprophylaxis
should be started preferably one week before departure and no later than the
rst day of exposure; it must be taken with unfailing regularity and continued
for 4 weeks after the last exposure. No prophylactic regimen is 100%
protective against infection, but even if it fails to prevent the disease it may,
nevertheless, render the infection milder and less life threatening.

Visa for Panama

Visa: Visa required.

Visa Exemptions: Nationals of Argentina for a maximum stay of 180 days.

Passengers with a passport issued by Argentina and a national ID card or a

birth certi cate issued by Panama.

TWOV (Transit Without Holders of con rmed onward tickets for a max. transit time of 12 hours, or until
Visa): the rst connecting ight.
Unaccompanied minors are not permitted to stay overnight.
