1. General Description
1.1. General
Model HI VISION Avius is a multi-functional ultrasound diagnostic scanner in which Doppler, ColorFlow
Mapping, etc. are provided and all circuits related to image quality are fully digitalized.
As not only linear and convex scan type probes, but also phased array scan type probe can be operated with
HI VISION Avius, it is possible to use it for any field of application.
Furthermore, High-definition dTHI (HdTHI) mode (Hitachi unique technology) are provided in standard
function.
This mode provide “Clear image” to reduce artifact such as vibration echo, and to improve spatial resolution
and contrast resolution.
HI Com function, HI REZ+ function, Trapezoidal display function, Oblique B-mode image function,
real-time Doppler trace, cine memory, patient data management function, and Real-time Archiving function
can be used on the standard model.
Wide view software, Stress echo software, Software specified Contrast Agents, cardiac measurement
software, Real-time Tissue Elastography, omni-directional M (ODM) mode, Remote control unit, Picture in
Picture software can be used optional function.
It is convenience for user to adopt Ergonomic design and 17-inch digital LCD Monitor and more improved
High-definition screen-displayed format.
1.2. Features
True digital architecture
Due to beamformer which is decisively concerned to the image quality and all image processing are
digitalized, high spatial resolution, wide dynamic range and high contrast resolution are realized.
Ultrasound transmit circuit is improved by high performance transmit amplifier, and ultrasound receiving
circuit is improved by high performance pre-amplifier.
Frame rate is improved much more faster comparing with conventional system.
High quality image is digital image processing application.
This architecture that is achieved high quality image is good for new generation.
Quick response
Mode changing, image condition settings, probe changing and application selection can be performed
quickly so that operator can pay attention to the patients.
-1- SN-U391E
17-inch digital LCD Monitor
It is adopted 17-inch digital LCD Monitor. LCD Monitor provides high quality image.
The LCD simple arm that optimizes the position of the LCD monitor and the operational panel provides ease
of use. The LCD flexible arm that can adjust height and four-way position provides freely position of
monitor.
Ergonomic design
- Design
Design is adopted to focus on user’s “easiness to use”, like front layout of probe connector, based on
ergonomics.
- Easily operable keyboard
As key arrangement is taken in consideration of frequency of use and operational has improved. An
optional alphanumeric keyboard that is adopted backlight keyboard improves key response and
visibility.
- Excellent mobility with four swivel casters
As all the four casters are of swivel type, it is easy to move in narrow space.
Due to reduced friction force to floor it is easy to move from ward to ward.
- Probe rest
It connects 3 probes simultaneously and has 1 dummy connector.
Use interface
Workflow is improved because of new GUI.
It is a few procedures for many functions to use screen buttons.
Online Manual
It is applicable to browse instruction manual on your HI VISION Avius.
-2- SN-U391E
Various B-mode scan
- HI Com function
Compound function provides high spatial resolution, wide dynamic range and high contrast resolution.
- Trapezoidal display function
Trapezoidal display is applicable for linear probe.
It is improved diagnosis area for linear probe.
- Oblique B-mode image function
This function enables you to use oblique function not only CFI/CFA mode but B mode.
-3- SN-U391E
Filing function.
- Examination data management
Examination data (images measurement results and other data) can manage and operate together, so it is
easy to refer data before an examination and after an examination.
- Multiple functions to save data
No image degradation because of digital image recording.
This filing function can record still images and multi images not only HDD include system) but also
DVD-RAM, DVD-R, USB memory and USB HDD.
- Easy-to-use filing function
In the Filing window, you can view examination data.
It is consideration for easy-to-use in the routine examination by filtering Patient ID or Patient name or
keyword search.
Thumbnail view provides easy access to destination image.
Review images can display 1/4/9/16 screen depend on choosing images.
- Patient data management
You can select the patient in the list view who had examination once.
-4- SN-U391E
DICOM function
This software can transfer ultrasound images and measurement reports to a storage server.
It has a Storage Commitment function for ultrasound images.
This software can output and read ultrasound images in DICOM file format.
This software has a function to obtain WorkLists from the MWM server.
It has a function to send examination start and completion notifications for ultrasound images to the MPPS
server.
And it can be sent Ultrasound images to grayscale or color DICOM printers.
4D function
3D ultrasound images can be viewed in almost real-time. As the scanning part of the probe swings
automatically in a fan-like fashion, it sends signals to the three-dimensional display unit, which rapidly
builds a 3D image based on the probe’s signal.
STIC function
Multiple 3D images representing a single heartbeat can be displayed by automatically swinging the
scanning part of the probe in a fan-like fashion and estimating the cardiac cycle from the obtained images.
3D function
The software is able to collect sequential 2D image data by using a probe to scan at a steady rate and then
display the collected data as 3D images.
