Saturn in 10th and constructing a house: By Pt.

The Lal Kitab in the section specifically dealing with ‘makaan’ says:

“ jab tak makan na banave, shanishchar makan banana ke liye samaan jama karne ki
qeemat [naqad rupiya] deta jayega. lekin jab makan ban jave shanishchar bistar tak bhi
uthakar le bhage, balki dhundane par bhi nishan na milega; aur amadan barbad, balki
khatma hogi” [page 1134; 1952 Urdu ed]

This is a very scaring statement.

As it appears, it means that once the house gets built, his source of income will be gone [
amadan barbad balki khatma hogi]. Not only that Saturn will not be seen any more [
bistar tak bhi uthakar le bhage balki dhundane par bhi nishan na milega]

But when we read about the Saturn in the 10th house, the results given are very different
to what is said later on in the section dealing with ‘makan’.

“ aur agar 48 saal umra tak naya makan na banvaye to shanishchar teve wale ko
makan ki qeemat va saman ke barabar dhan daulat deta jave, lekin jab hi makan ban jave
shanishchar apani madad ka bistara boriya uthakar le javega aur us din se aage aur
jiyadah nafa na dega. Magar yah matlab nahi ki bura asar dene lag jaye ga . murad sirf
yah hai ki us din ke bad yani jab makan ban jave, shani makan ke liye faltoo dhan jama
na hone dega” [page 631; 1952 urdu ed]

In this statement there is no mention of ‘amadan barbad balki khatma hogi’ nor that
of Saturn being extinct altogether ‘dhundane par bhi nishan na milega’.

This statement simply says that Saturn will continue to function as before but would stop
giving extra money [faaltoo dhan] that was needed to build a house.

Well, who will need the extra money for the house once it has already been constructed?
Effectively the statement means that a Saturn placed in the 10th house helps to accumulate
finances needed to build a house. Period!
It is left for the individual astrologer and the native to believe in either of the two
above statements.

If one goes by what has been said in the first statement of the book quoted above, if one
wants his well being then getting a house built or bought before the age of 48 is strictly
prohibited. No ifs and buts.

Now coming to your specific queries in the light of the 2nd statement of the book quoted
above. [Saturn in the 10th page 631]

[1] Saturn will continue helping the native accumulate money to get his house built till
the age of 48. If he gets a house built before that age, the Saturn will stop helping him
save the money for the house, but will continue to give results according to its nature
[malefic or benefic] depending on other planetary placements.

[2] Saturn will continue acting as before [malefic or benefic] subject to other planetary
placement, irrespective of getting the house. If a person gets a house as a gift or legacy
than Saturn has nothing to do with it. Saturn doesn’t have to arrange for the money,
does it? The role of the Saturn is confined only for arranging the money. Since money is
not needed when a house is acquired through gift or legacy, I do not see any role of the
Saturn then.

[3] The restriction is only so long as one needs to arrange finances, nothing more. The
restriction simply means that a person with Saturn in the 10th should get a house built/
bought only after the age of 48 so that Saturn helps him accumulate the money for it.

In other words, if a person is buying or getting a house built through loans, then he
shouldn’t before the age of 48, because the Saturn will no longer help him
arrange finances to pay back the loans. But if the native gets a house as a gift or as a
legacy where he doesn’t have to bother for the payments, just go ahead.

God bless you
