This study examines retailers' achievement of sales targets for Cadbury Diary Milk Silk chocolate stored in free coolers provided by Mondelez International. A sample of 278 shops in Trivandrum were surveyed. The study found that over 70% of coolers were not in use, primarily due to concerns about electricity costs by retailers. Over 50% of coolers contained other companies' products and were considered impure. While 72% of shops met their sales targets, the main reason 22% did not was a decrease in sales due to market fluctuations. The study provides insights into improving cooler usage and sales target achievement.
