Design of Information Systems For Health Services At Clinical

Laboratories
Fanji Wijaya & Suryana
Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Bandung. Indonesia

ABSTRACT: Improve the Quality of Laboratory Services through service standardization that includes
aspects of service procedures, diagnostic procedures, and diagnostic accuracy you need for a healthier life.
Found the problem that happened to Paranida Clinic of Bandung in processing patient data, which still done
by recording system and transaction calculation process of payment still not maximal computerized system so
that in making patient data report and financial report need long time. The method used is structured design
system approach. Where structured design is the model development of problem solving analysis by using
computer systems that have components and relationships that are similar or similar to the original problem.
The system development used in this research is to make prototype using iterative method in System
Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model. In the design of Health Care Information System is using a
programming language supported by NetBeans IDE 6.9.1 with MySQL as database. After passing the stages
of implementation and testing, the results obtained are better data storage and ease of administration is
effective in preparing reports and archiving structured reports. The system information created is expected to
help the Clinical Laboratory in improving its health services and performance
