totally enclosed unit is recommended. The unit is equipped with a

qasketed borosilicate glass drip cover, ceramic filter mounted in the
reflector. and an impact resistant full-gasketed glass door. Glass door
assemblV is equipped with safety cable.

Safety lO Lighting Systems - Two Tungsten Halogen Lighting

Systems are available for safety lighting in the event of momentary
power failures. The packages consist of a 250 watt tungsten halogen
lamp, a socket installed on a tube extending into the reflector down
from the power housing, control device, and all completely factory
wired- (Tungsten Halogen lamp operates off 120 volt tap on any
voltage ballast.) One 250 watt tungsten halogen lamp is standard.

stantly goes on with the resumption of power. providing 250 wattsof
Tungsten Halogen light (lO) until the l\4ercury/lvletalarc lamp re-
strikes.
IOD System -
Sylvania's electronic safety light system. lnstantly goes toD
on with resumption of power. Providing 250 watts of Tungsten
Halogen light {lQ) and operates until the Mercury/l\,4etalarc lamp is up
to approximately 50% of its normal brightness-

ballast housing or power hook. Fuses are accessible without removing F
