Dear Parent/Carer,

Wider Learning Week 2018: Monday 9 – Friday 13 July

Year 7 Day-by-Day Itinerary

Wider Learning Week provides enriching learning experiences in familiar and new contexts.
Activities will challenge students and promote a wider understanding and independence. It is also
to reward students for their hard work this year. Please be aware that, for the duration of this
week, the school day will change - school will start at 8.45am and finish at 2.50pm. This is to
provide time for staff to set up these activities, and to allow students to register in their activity
groups. Below outlines the exact nature of the week for your son/ward.

On Monday and Tuesday, all of Year 7 will be following activities in form groups. These will vary
based on whether you have previously consented for your son/ward to attend the off-site visits.
Places on these visits are now closed.

We look forward to a rewarding week. Normal school standards and expectations apply; any
