RPAN Formulation Meeting

Highlights of the meeting were:

a. Updates re: recently concluded NET for City of Ilagan and Ivana, Batanes
b. Presentation of the First Draft of the RPAN 2019-2022 to the RNC
Each part of the plan (Nutrition Situation, Budgetary requirements, PESTLE+C,
Institutional arrangements) was reviewed thoroughly for corrections and/or additional
information. Partner agencies concerned shared and supplemented information to the
initial draft presented in order to improve the final output.
c. Follow up with other agencies (DOH, DAR, DA, DOST, DSWD) on the needed target
outputs and budgetary requirements.
d. Drafting of resolutions to promote healthy environment such as serving of healthy snacks
during meetings and the inclusion of the basis for the creation of such (department orders,
resolutions, memorandum, etc.)
e. Presentation of Draft Resolution to RNC Adopting the RPAN 2019-2022.
Each partner agency was provided with a copy of the draft resolution informed them to
email back comments and/or suggestions.
