Wei-Wang and co-workers prepared the Co-Zn ferrites by using Co-

precipitation method at different PH conditions. The morphological study

revealed that the average particle size of the composite decrease from 40nm to

30nm when the PH value increased from 9-11. The raw materials that was used

for this purpose were iron nitrate nonahydrate [Fe (No3)3. 9H2OAR] Cobalt (II)

nitrate hexahydrate [CO (NO3)2. 6H2O AR] Zinc nitrate hexahydrate [Zn (NO3)2

6H2O.AR] and sodium hydroxide (NaoH1Ar). Through XRD values the

following properties can be confirmed. When the PH value is 5 then the Fe 2O3

phase exhibits. Then the Fe2O3 impurity exhibits when the pH value approaches

to 8. The Fe2O3 phase disappears when the pH values becomes 9. When the

Fe2O3 phases disappear then all the diffraction peaks can be ascribed to Cobalt

Zinc ferrite phase. The TEM characterization shows that the particle size

increases with the increasing pH value when the pH is 9 than the particle size is

about 30nm, when the particle size is 40nm then the pH value is 11. It is known

that nucleation and aggregation are two important process during the particle

formation.

Manju Kurian and Co-workers worked on the nickel zinc ferrite nano-

particles through or by the comparision between sol-gel auto combustion and

co-precipitation methods by preparing nickel Zinc ferrite nano-particles. These

samples were also calcinated at different temperature mean that at 500 oc.

Through XRD, bulk density and porosity can also be calculated properties of
nano-crystalline nickel Zinc ferrite particles prepared using the sol-gel auto-

combustion method and co-precipitation were compared. The particles obtained

were found to exhibit cubic spinel structure with size varying from 17 to 40nm.

The observed peaks in FIIR spectra confirmed the information of ferrites. It was

also found that the temperature has no effect on the agglomeration of the ferrite

samples except in the case of SGE sample. TEM pictures agree with the XRD

data. Yan Liang and co-workers studied the spinal structure of ZnO/Zn Fe2O4

hybrid micro-hexahedra by using co-precipitation method. The resulting

ZnO/Zn Fe2O4 micro-hexahedra were systematically characterized by using x-

ray powder diffraction, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning

electronic micro-scopy, high resolution TEM. All the main XRD diffraction

peaks can be well indexed to hexagonal Zno with Wurtzite structure and

crystallized Zn Fe2O4 in cubic spinel-type structure with the space group. FTTR

spectra shows the bending and stretching vibrations of bonds

S.A Shivashankar and co-workers worked on the Zinc ferrite nano

crystallites and their effects on magnetic properties. Nano-crystalline Zn Fe2O4

powder was prepared by a micro-wave irradiation-assisted synthesis technique,

from an aqua-alcoholic solution comprising stoichiometric quantities of

acetylacetonates of Zn(II) and Fe(III). The as prepared powder was then

annealed, employing four different annealing Protocols.
