Our Sun KingTM range of solar home energy solutions
is one of the world’s leading off-grid lighting brands,
synonymous with quality, reliability and affordability.
We are committed to serving the needs of the nearly 2
billion people that live without access to the electric grid
or with power cuts so long and frequent that they are
forced to use less adequate technology like kerosene,
candles or battery torches as their primary sources of
light. Under-electrified households in Asia, Sub-Saharan
Africa and Central America spend upwards of 15% of
their income to repeatedly purchase methods of lighting
that literally burn out within hours of use. They also travel
long distances to pay small businesses to charge their
mobile phones.
Sun KingTM products afford these households the ability
to own bright household lighting devices with mobile
phone charging capabilities recharged entirely by the
power of the sun for a fraction of their current spend.

Our unique EasyBuyTM technology also affords customers
the ability to pay for their products in small installments
over time, allowing them to purchase their Sun KingTM
products in line with their typical cash flow. Customers
can pay for their products in daily, weekly or monthly
installments. If installment payments are delayed, the
EasyBuyTM technology ‘locks’ use of the system until a
payment is made. At the end of the payment plan, the
Sun KingTM product is perpetually ‘unlocked’ for full
ownership.
EasyBuyTM, our version of “pay-as-you-go” technology,
can be easily integrated into any market and enables
our distribution partners to more effectively serve their
customer’s needs. Businesses can establish flexible
payment plans based on localized demographics and
income levels. Customers simply pay a pre-determined
deposit to purchase their Sun KingTM product and follow
up with payments by cash or via mobile money until it is
paid off. Our mobile application assists in the efficient
registering and tracking of customer and agent activity
while web-based analytics allow distribution partners to
check the overall health of account portfolios, manage
collections and provide timely after-sales support.
