SM BAGUIO SPACE TRUSS RECTIFICATIONS

This is to certify that Sy^2 + Associates, Inc , a structural engineering consultancy

firm, undertook the structural engineering evaluations for the space truss rectification of the
SM Baguio located in Baguio City.

This is to certify, further, that the undersigned supervised said evaluations and is the
Structural Engineering-on-Record of the above structure.

The undersigned also certifies that the rectified space truss being analyzed are
sufficient and adequate to support all the anticipated loads within the structure, including the
imposed dead loads, additional superimposed dead loads, construction live loads and
anticipated wind loadings in accordance with the structural design provisions of the latest
edition of the National Structural Code of the Philippines (NSCP 2015). The structural steel
connection was also analyzed and found to be adequate considering the effect of wind and
seismic forces, including possible code-prescribe load combinations of these forces.

This certification is being issued upon the request of the owner for whatever legal
purposes it may serve.
