Stealth killed 10 machines

Performed a stealth kill on 10 machines. (3)
Skill Required: Silent Strike

You must first purchase and learn the skill called "Silent Strike" from the Prowler
Skill Tree. This skill costs 1 Skill Point and when you sneak up or stealth behind
enemies, press to perform a silent takedown which results in an instant kill on
small machines and humans. If this move is used on medium sized enemies, it will
only deal high damage.

For the trophy, you need to use the "Silent Strike" to stealth kill 10 machines in
order for this trophy to unlock. You can easily unlock this trophy by hiding in
tall grass and luring machines like Watchers or Striders to your location by
throwing rocks or using the Lure Call skill to lure a single enemy to your
position. When the machine is close enough to perform the Silent Strike, press to
kill it. Remember, this works best on the weak small machines with little health.
Once you've performed your 10th Silent Strike kill, the trophy will unlock. Stats
can be tracked by going to the Notebook and viewing "Statistics".

It should be noted that Strike from Above kills will also count towards this
trophy's unlocking.

3 Strikes From Above

Killed 3 enemies using the Strike from Above skill. (1)
Skill Required: Strike from Above

You must first purchase and learn the skill called "Strike from Above" from the
Prowler Skill Tree. This skill costs 2 Skill Points and whenever an enemy is
standing below you, press to silently drop down to instantly kill small machines
and humans. If this move is used on medium sized enemies, it will only deal high
damage.

For the trophy, you will need to use the "Strike from Above" to kill at least 3
enemies in order for this trophy to unlock. It doesn't matter if these enemies are
machine or humans as long as you killed them using the Strike from Above skill. You
can easily get these kills by throwing rocks at the ground or using the Lure Call
skill to lure a machine like a Watcher or Strider to your position. As they get
closer to you, climb up a small cliff or hill platform. You should then be prompted
to press if you're in a position where you can drop down for the kill. Rinse and
repeat this method 2 more times and the trophy will unlock on the 3rd enemy killed.

Tore off 10 components

Detached 10 components from machines during combat. (1)
Key Weapon Modification:

= Tear: Remove armor & components

Recommended Weapon & Ammo:

Shadow Sharpshot Bow with Tearblast Arrows

All machines have certain components on their bodies, these come in many types of
forms such as weapons or body part weaknesses. The type of machines with components
do not matter at all. So machines in the sizes of small, medium, and large all have
components on their bodies of some kind. Certain weapons in the game can damage and
take out these components while you're in combat. When you do enough damage to a
component it will fall off. Pressing the to use the Focus scanning abilities can
see and tag these components/weaknesses by pressing .

The fastest way to unlock this trophy is by using the Tearblast Arrows from the
Sharpshot Bow (Blue or Purple). It'll instantly knock/tear off any component that
you hit, no matter how much health it has and no matter how big the machine is. You
can buy this bow at most merchants, e.g. in Meridian City. Now go to the spawn
locations of some of the bigger machines (marked on the map) such as a Thunderjaw
and shoot off their components. There are a bunch of them at the Sun Furrows
Hunting Grounds.

Additionally, this trophy will unlock naturally without even going out of your way
to unlock it. Youll often encounter machines with components as you play through
the game and eventually youre gonna hit some components off during combat. Aloy's
spear is also capable of knocking off armor and components with upgrades in the
Brave Skill Tree.

10 Vulnerable machine kills

Killed 10 machines weak to Fire while burning, or weak to Freeze while frozen.
(15)
Note: Patch Version 1.10 fixed an issue where some robots would not be counted for
this trophy.

Key Weapon Modification:

= Fire: Damage over time

= Freeze: Multiply subsequent damage
Recommended Weapons & Ammo:

Shadow Hunter Bow with Fire Arrows

Shadow War Bow with Freeze Arrows
Shadow Sling with Fire or Freeze Bombs

This trophy is very misleading and lots of people ask questions about it. Truth is,
this trophy is Story related, cannot be missed. You will get this trophy naturally
just by playing through the game. The reasoning behind this is at the end of the
story, you have to shoot lots of machines with a cannon called an Oseram Cannon,
which does fire damage. Therefore, this trophy should unlock naturally.

For the trophy, purchase Shadow Sling since it has both types of elements of Fire
and Freeze Bombs. It's also recommended that you purchase the Shadow Hunter Bow
since it's one of your main weapons in the game and comes with stronger Fire
Arrows. If you frequently use the Fire Arrows with this bow or the Shadow Sling's
Fire or Freeze Bombs, you'll unlock this trophy quite easily. Using your Focus []
to scan machines can also reveal their weakness if they have any. You will want to
see if they are vulnerable to Fire or Freeze. One Fire Arrow or Freeze Bomb won't
suffice. When you hit them there's a circle filling up above the machine(s) you hit
with the element. Once this circle is all the way filled up the effect will start
to kick in. Then you can visually see the enemy going up in flames or getting
frozen in ice.

Fire does a lot of recurrent damage over a short period of time. Freeze makes it so
you can shatter some enemies in one hit because their entire body becomes a weak
point.

All Machines with the Body Weakness to Fire:

Sawtooth
Freeze Bellowback
Glinthawk
Corruptor
Ravager
Snapmaw
Deathbringer
Corrupted Machines

All Machines with the Body Weakness to Freeze:

Trampler
Fire Bellowback
Rockbreaker
Tore off 5 heavy weapons
Detached 5 heavy weapons from machines during combat. (1)
Key Weapon Modification:

= Tear: Remove armor & components

Recommended Weapon & Ammo:

Shadow Sharpshot Bow with Tearblast Arrows

Some of the biggest machines, e.g. Thunderjaws & Deathbringers have heavy weapons
on their body. The Thunderjaw is the best machine to farm this; one can be found at
the Sun Furrows Hunting Grounds and it respawns each time you start a new trial.
Use Tearblast Arrows from the Sharpshot Bow (Blue or Purple). It instantly knocks
off any component(s) that you hit, no matter how much health it has and no matter
how big the machine is. You can buy this bow at most merchants, e.g. in Meridian
City or at Hunting Grounds. Now find a Thunderjaw and hit the Disc Launcher above
the Thunderjaws leg with a Tearblast Arrow. Repeat this 4 more times and the
trophy will unlock.

Remember, you can use your Focus [] to scan the machine to see where the Heavy
Weapon is located at on their bodies. Press to activate the Concentration skill
while aiming the bow to slow down time before firing a Tearblast Arrow.

All Machines with Heavy Weapons Tear Components:

Ravager - Ravager Cannon (x1 Component)

Thunderjaw - Disc Launcher (x2 Components)
Deathbringer - Gun Turret (x2 Components)
Headshot 30 human enemies
Killed 30 human enemies by landing headshots on them. (8)
Key Weapon Modification:

= Handling - Aim (accuracy) & reload speed

= Damage: Damage to target
Recommended Weapon & Ammo:

Shadow Hunter Bow with Hardpoint Arrows

The Concentration skill is highly recommended for this trophy which can be learned
from the Brave Skill Tree. It only costs 1 Skill Point and slows down time while
aiming by hitting . The bow that you will want to use is a Hunter Bow which has
more damage on it and can score headshots easily. It should be noted that these
headshots need to be human enemies. Use your bow to land headshots on 30 different
human enemies. You can find many of them in Bandit Camps or by doing Main/Side
Quests. In case youve cleared all Bandit Camps and Quests and still haven't
unlocked this trophy, you can find more human enemies walking on roads around the
map (mostly in desert areas). They show up randomly from time to time.
Additionally, you can also replay the final story Main Quest, "The Looming Shadow"
as many times as you want. There are human enemies at the start of that mission.
Remember, press to activate the Concentration skill while aiming the bow.
Headshots kill most human enemies instantly with 1 arrow; however, heavy and elite
human enemies can take 2-3 headshots before they're killed. You can see how many
headshots you have in your Notebook's () Statistics.

Downed 23 Grazer dummies

Found and knocked over all of the Grazer training dummies in the Nora region.
(7)
(Collectible)

Recommended Weapon:

Sylen's Lance use for Heavy Shock attacks

There are 23 Grazer Training Dummies in the Nora region. They look like deer made
of straw, logs, machine armor and have a bow training target on them. You can knock
them over with your spear using the following:

Use for quick light attacks which can knock off armor.
Use for a slow heavy attack which has a chance to knock down the target.

These Training Dummies are usually near campfires. All of them are at named Map
locations mostly at Settlements (Towns) and two Bandit Camps. Nora Region is the
snowy starting area, including the north-eastern snowy parts. This region ends
where the desert starts. Last of all, if you advance further in the story's Main
Quest, "The Mountain That Fell", you'll get the strongest Spear in the game called
Sylens' Lance. This spear has a slower heavy Shock attack [] which is strong
enough to knock down these Grazer Training Dummies in only 1 hit. The game's
starting spear will take you multiple hits to knock these dummies down. It should
be noted that there's no in-game collectible Map for these Training Dummies, so
it's recommended that you follow a video guide for their exact locations.

Below is a listing of all Grazer Training Dummies Locations as well number of

dummies:

Rosts House: 7
Mothers Heart: 2
Mothers Watch: 2
Mothers Cradle: 2

First Modification
Used a Weapon Coil or Outfit Weave on a modifiable weapon or outfit.
Weapon Coils and Outfit Weaves are dropped frequently by enemies and can be bought
from Merchants (the tougher the enemy, the higher the drop rate). In your Inventory
(), they are listed under the Modifications category. Loot all fallen enemies and
youll get plenty of mods in the following rarities:

Uncommon
Rare
Very Rare
Rarities do not matter with this trophy's unlocking requirement. To use a Weapon
Coil or Outfit Weave on a modifiable weapon or outfit, do the following:

Press and select the Crafting menu.

Choose either Modify Weapons or Modify Outfits.
Select any Weapon or Outfit.
Hover over any Empty Slot and press to select it.
Choose any Modification and press [hold] to Equip the Modification.

It's important to note that not all Modifications are compatible with every weapon.
Some are tied to specific weapons only, so if you cannot modify your current weapon
wait for another mod to drop or buy different weapons. Outfits, on the other hand,
can use any Outfit Weaves Modifications.

You start the game off at Level 3 automatically when Aloy is an adult ("The Point
of the Spear"). To rank up you need to gain Experience (XP), which you can earn by
completing Main/Side Quests, Errands, Bandit Camps, Tallnecks, Hunting Grounds,
Cauldrons, and Corrupted Zones. This means you also get XP by killing human and
machine enemies. The only thing that gives you the smallest amount of XP is killing
wildlife animals.

We want to emphasize that there is no need to farm XP. There are ways that you can
farm large amounts of XP in 1-2 minutes, but youll reach level 50 very easily
while just going for the other trophies and completing the game. Doing all the
story Main Quests to "The Looming Shadow" brings you to levels over 30+. Cleaning
up trophies and getting ready for the final battle will give you both the level 40
and level 50 trophies.

Our Roadmap will have you around these levels on average:

Step 1: Levels 30-35 and you should have the Shield-Weaver Outfit
Step 2: Levels 35-50 Everything mop up and all Optional Allies requirements should
be met
Step 3: Maxed Level should already be reached when you've finished Step 2

If you're not maxed out then you can always do the Hunting Ground Trials giving you
some very quick level ups and will push you to levels 40+. Getting Blazing Sun
Marks in all Hunting Trials gives 17,500 XP for 1 minute of work. The remaining
Side Quests and activities will very quickly get you to level 50. No farming
required, there are more than enough XP Rewards for just playing the game and
completing the various tasks.

Forager
In order to learn these skills, you need to get Skill Points. Skill Points are

please see the Reached level 50 trophy for more information. To open the Skills
menu press the and select Skills. You will find all available skills here and can
