Introduction of Disk Drive Unit, DDU-200

We are happy to introduce new disk drive unit, DDU-200 below.

It is a successor of DDU-100 which can write and read the data on CD-R(RW).
The DDU-200 can store and retrieve the data on CD-R(RW) and DVD-RAM.
It is not necessary to finalize the writing action for DVD-RAM. It is possible to write and
read directly on DVD-RAM like MO disk after freezing the image at the system. In writing
the data on CD-R(RW) by DDU-200, it is necessary to store the whole data temporarily
as the data buffer, and then write the data at once on CD-R(RW) like the writing
procedure of DDU-100.

Mounting method:

Please put DDU-200 on the top of system using attached dual lock fastener. In
case of mounting DDU-200 with VCR on SSD-3500, please use the exclusive
mounting bracket “MP-FX3500-4*”.

z SSD-3500SX (with LCD monitor): MP-FX3500-4D

DVD-RAM drive:
It is possible to record and store a variety of data on DVD-RAM.
The specifications of DVD-RAM disk are described as follows;
It is possible to use DVD-RAM and CD-R(RW) disks.

Available with and without cartridge

How to insert the disk:

1. Disk with cartridge

Put DVD-RAM disk on the DVD-RAM disk

tray like the picture. Label side
Push the disk forward
about 2cm into the drive.
Place the disk flatly on the tray.

2. Disk without cartridge

Insert a disk under the

stopper on the drive.
Tray
Put the back edge of the disk
under the disk holder A and B.
Set the disk inside the disk guides.
