The following table outlines an overview of the International Literacy Association (ILA)

Standards and the International Dyslexia Association (IDA) Standards and their connections to
each other. Artifacts are listed from the courses from the Literacy Specialist program that
demonstrate my understanding of the Standards. The Standards are pieced together in six
sections. Throughout the six sections, I will synthesize each of the ILA and IDA standards,
summarize the artifacts, and demonstrate my knowledge and as a literacy specialist through a
justification of how the standards are evidenced through the artifacts.
