C:TEST FOR ON-LOAD TAP-CHANGER & MOTOR DRIVE:

1.MECHANICAL TEST: The tap-changer fully assembled with motor drive TEN complete cycle of
operation were performed satisfactorily without any sign of failure

2.SEQUENCE TEST: During the routine mechanical test sequence of operation of selector switch
contact was recorded oscillographically and switching time recorded was 50.03 millisecond which is
within the acceptable range

3.PRESSURE TEST:
i) OLTCs: 1Kg/sq.cm 30 Mints.(Tested on fabricated tank by applying Air pressure)
ii) Terminal Board : Tested Seprarately for 0.7kg/sq.cm 3Hours (Hot Oil at 80 Degree C)

4.AUXILIARY CIRCUIT INSULATION TEST: A test voltage of 2kV,50HZ was applied for one
minute between live terminals of all auxiliary circuits and the earth terminal on the housing.The test
was performed satisfactorily with out any sign of failure
