GUIDELINES FOR THE REPORT WRITING

1. The different parts of the report will be as follows:

I. Table of Contents
II. Abstract
III. Introduction
IV. Design and Methodology
V. Results and Discussion
VI. Conclusion and Recommendation
VII. References
VIII. Appendices
a. List and Uses of Apparatus
b. Definition of Terms
c. Computations
d. Problems
e. Documentation
IX. List of Tables and List of Figures

2. In each Report to be submitted, there should be a complete information on Laboratory

Report Evaluation Sheet.
3. There should also be a title page, containing the experiment title, citation of the research to
be presented to the Faculty and together with the School as a requirement for the degree, the
list of names of the researchers/students, and the month and year the experiment was
conducted.
