Executive Summary

Techno-Rent is an online business located in Cagayan de Oro City, Mindanao,


Philippines which aims to catch up the interest of the customer on which we provide customers
especially to the students who can’t afford an expensive gadget in order to fulfil their needs.
Techno-Rent is one of the fastest growing retail stores, offers a diverse range of genuine and
high quality IT products at a reasonable price, coupled with customer satisfaction through good
service, it has be ingrained in people’s mind that for any computer or Cameras, “Techno-Rent is
the place to be.”

Our customers are those individuals who doesn’t have gadgets most especially laptop
and DSLR which is our main rental product that would help them with their usage in school
stuffs they would do. We cater and serve our customers based on the availability of our gadgets.

Techno-Rent is not only a rental business but also we cater those who want to buy
gadgets that we sell. Our product is also suitable for students because it is affordable and has the
lowest rental rate than the original price. We also offer freebies to those who are our regular
customers. Techno-rent doesn’t offer a delivery service, since it was just a start-up business.

o The Techno-Rent is a reliable and useful gadget that provides user/client needs regarding
laptop and camera.

o Our product accommodate old product for renting and new product for selling. The client
should visit our webpage of basic info.

o The client needs to register for the reservation of the item selected.

o The client should come to our respective location for another requirements and approval
for their identity.

o The payment process is half down payment of the item selected and additional deposit
for unexpected damage of the item, the charge item damage will depend of its parts.

o For the final payment, if the item has no damage the customer should pay for the half
price and the deposit will give it back to the customer.

o The site is only for information and registration for reservation.

About the Company

 Our main product is Rental Process which you can visit online or practically at the store
beside Phinma COC College. It helps the client to rent Laptops and Cameras. It provides
accessibility, quality and reliable products.

 We will open our first location in August 28, 2018

 We open at 8:00am – 8:00pm; Lunch break at 12: non-1pm; our website open 24/7.

Logo
We decided that our logo will be a simple design with an informative symbols. We
construct a best of the best logo that fits on our company.
In the outer part of the design is the business named ”Techno Rent” which symbolizes
the stronghold that keeps the business system flow freely inside the company.
The blue background inside the logo is the circuit board which represents the
connections between the company and the clients though our business is all about renting.
The Laptop, DSLR and Digicam that also seen inside the logo are the types of product
whom we used for our business and lastly the name “BIGNETS” that located below the logo, it
means to lift or to carry the company's business.

i. Who are our competitors and what products and services do they offer?

Competitors

The Techno-rent is a unique business; we have lot of competitors like Octagon, Samsung
Company, Lenovo Company, and Acer Company etc.

1. Octagon
Octagon Computer Superstore started in 1982 as an IT products retailer.[6] They mainly
sell computer sets, accessories and components.[5] It then grew from a being an IT
products retailer with a lone store in Manila to a chain of computer retail stores with
branches nationwide.
From 1990s to 2010, Octagon became the country's reselling partner to various global
technological brands such as Acer, Hewett-Packard, Logitech, and Seagate. With high
sales from Octagon within that year, the company was given citations such as the Acer's
Excellent Major Account Development Award in 1995 and Cisco's Retail Store of the
Year in 2009.
Octagon delivers Information Technology to the people with its network of branches that
cover most of the Philippines archipelago. Through these efforts, Octagon is renowned
as the biggest and largest computer retailer in the Philippines. However octagon has a
dollar price unlike Techno-Rent cheaper than Octagon. Octagon Computer Superstore

2. Samsung

Acer Established in 1976, Acer is a hardware + software + services company

displays, projectors, servers, tablets, smart phones and wearable. It is also
developing cloud solutions to bring together the Internet of Things. Acer

Techno-rent is well known for a high quality product, we have a very good quality
and reliable products/services based on customer satisfaction, they can easily
accessed through internet and in visible area of the city and affordable for all
customers. The company do its best to meet the customers demand as early as
possible.

Weaknesses

 Most common causes of the time lack of customers, hard to access due to the low
internet connection, slow response in customer services.

 The company have not all the products which the customer need but, the
company is willing to accept recommendation and any suggestions from customers.

 The company don’t have lots of employees but still the company can offer a good,
fast and efficient service for every customer.

Opportunities

Having absolute facility, the stuffs is well trained to entertain the customer well regarding
to their concerns. Thus, our company also provides convenient to the students who can’t afford
to buy their own laptop/camera for school purposes.

 We have a chance to become a top competitor because of our cheap yet US

Our proposed product is called Techno-Rent; we’ll create a website that will help the
customers/students to easy find rented gadgets such as laptops and other types of digital cameras
inside a city. This website will be their online bulletin for the available gadgets than can be
rented. Most often of the problem nowadays, some have difficulties specially in financial that
they can’t afford to buy a gadget like laptops and other types of digital cameras. So this
proposed business of us, helps the students to easily rent a gadget so that they can use it to their
reports and other school matters. In this situation, students can freely use the gadget in a specific

procedure of renting.

expenses that will be convenient to those professionals and especially to the
students who doesn’t have enough money for them to buy an expensive gadget
for their school works. This the only way can help to the parents who don’t want
to fail their children just to pass for their school task.

only a medium size of establishment since it was just a start-up. A office for the process and
validation for the gadget rental it is also the storage room of our rentable gadgets . Cashier
section that has 2 computers to serve and to pay the customer’s bill. And the most important
part of the establishment is the product sections, were we can see all of our products which has
150square meters.
