Leadership Role on Administrative Service Quality in Babrongko Village, Ebungfauw

District, Jayapura Regency

One of tasks that must be attended by leader is to foster the employees to ensure that
the work is accomplished with enthusiasm, morality, and resilience. Employees who satisfy
with organization would give results more than expectation because it is assumed that their
attempt to improve service performance is worthwhile. If subordinates do have low
satisfaction to organization, then their work would be seen as saturation and boredom, which
as a consequence, the work is executed by perforce and at will.
Problem of research is: ”How far is Leadership Role on Administrative Service
Quality in Babrongko Village, Ebungfauw District, Jayapura Regency?” The objective of this
research includes: (1) to understand leadership role of Babrongko Village Chief in
Ebungfauw District, Jayapura Regency, (2) to comprehend quality level of administrative
service delivered by Babrongko Village Chief in Ebungfauw District, Jayapura Regency, and
(3) to recognize the relationship between leadership role and administrative service quality at
Babrongko Village Office in Ebungfauw District, Jayapura Regency.
Type of research is qualitative descriptive. Method of research is also qualitative
descriptive because this research attempts to provide a systematic, factual, and accurate
description about facts and characteristics of population in certain region. The sample
includes 36 respondents selected by Purposive Sampling.
Result of research gives some indications. (a) Data analysis shows that 77.77%
respondents have perceived into good category the leadership role in Babrongko Village,
Ebungfauw District, Jayapura Regency. (b) Data analysis reveals that 74.53% respondents
confirm that administrative service quality in Babrongko Village, Ebungfauw District,
Jayapura Regency remains in good category. (c) There is a relationship between leadership
role on administrative service quality in Babrongko Village, Ebungfauw District, Jayapura
Regency.
