La Granja: No Siesta!

Solo Setup
● Take 7 dice
● Take 8 coloured discs for player and 4 other coloured discs for neutral player.
● Place 4 of the player discs aside. These may come into play later.
● Flip Siesta and Esporles boards to single player sides
● Place a player, and a neutral player, disc on starting space on Siesta board
● Shuffle the 24 roof tiles
● Place 6 roof tiles (for helpers) to one side
● Place remaining 18 roof tiles aside (as your timer)
● Roll 1 dice
○ olive/wheat/berry = 5 VP (top cart) to neutral player
○ pig/silver = 7 VP (middle cart) to neutral player
○ donkey/commodity = 9 VP (bottom cart) to neutral player
● Place neutral disc on Esporles board using rolled symbol from previous step

Game Steps
1. Draw a roof tile, and place it aside (this is your timer).
2. Roll 5 dice
a. From the 5 dice roll take: one die for the player
i. If the chosen die matches one of the 2 neutral dice (top box on the Siesta board) the neutral
player advances on Siesta board.
ii. Place disc on appropriate circle on revenue board
b. ...and one die for the neutral player
i. Place in bottom box on Siesta board
c. Reroll the remaining 3 dice
d. From the 3 dice roll take one die for the player
i. If the chosen die matches one of the 2 neutral dice (top box on the Siesta board) the neutral
player advances on Siesta board.
ii. Place disc on appropriate circle on revenue board
e. ....and one die for the neutral player
i. Place in bottom box on Siesta board
f. Reroll last die and give to player
i. If the chosen die matches one of the 2 neutral dice (top box on the Siesta board) the neutral
player advances on Siesta board.
ii. Place disc on appropriate circle on revenue board
3. Mark scoring sheet accordingly
4. If the neutral player has ​no​ hats on his 2 dice (bottom box on Siesta board) he advances on the Siesta board.
a. If neutral player disc hits a cart then it completes the highest available.
i. Roll a dice to see which sport on the Esporles board it takes.
b. Move the 2 neutral dice from the bottom box (on the Siesta board) up to the top box on the Siesta board.
Put the 2 from the top box with the remaining 3 for rolling next round.

Scoring
If the player reaches the end of the Siesta track first then his VP is VP + number of steps he is ahead of the neutral player.
If the neutral player reaches the end first then the players VP is VP - number of steps he is behind the neutral player.

<= 20 points = Practice, practice, practice...


21-30 points = Not enough to survive as a farmer on Majorca
31-40 points = People start to take you seriously
41-50 points = You have the potential to be a farmer
51-59 points = You can make a living as a farmer on Majorca
60+ points = Congratulations! The estate of ‘La Granja’ is now yours!
