Port Detail
Fort Lauderdale sits 24 miles north of Miami and is named after a series of forts built by the United States during the second
Seminole War. The city's reputation as America's Spring Break capital has been replaced with the more favorable image of a
prime family tourist destination, attracting more than 10 million visitors annually. The city also prides itself on being the
"Venice of America" with more than 300 miles of navigable waterways. Fort Lauderdale boasts world-class theaters,
museums, sightseeing, and shopping.

In the event of a dual operation (two or more ships in port at the same time), alternate piers are used.

Luggage Handling
Prior to arriving at the pier, please ensure that all Princess luggage tags are attached (additional Princess luggage tags can be
obtained at the pier). This is in addition to your personal identification tag.

Curbside porters are available at the pier to take baggage to the vessel for delivery to your stateroom by shipboard
personnel. It is customary to tip porters for this service. Please be advised that curbside porters are not employees of Princess
Cruises. You are responsible for your belongings at all times. For security reasons, we remind you to keep your hand luggage,
including laptops, cameras, any medications, all travel documentation (passports, visas, etc.), and other valuables in your
possession at all times.

• $15.00 per day in the six level parking garage adjacent to Pier 2. Note that oversized vehicles are $19 per day.
• Cash and credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, American Express & Discover) are accepted.
• Parking is at the owner's risk.
• Please note that RV parking is not available.

In addition, there is parking available through Park N' Fly at Fort Lauderdale Airport (approximately 5 miles from the pier).

Directions
From I-95, take 595 East to US1 North.
From US1 North, turn right (East) on 17th Street Causeway.
Just before 17th Street Causeway Bridge turn right (South) on Eisenhower Boulevard.
Turn left at the first traffic light on S.E. 20th Street and follow the signs to Pier 2.

The parking garage entrance is straight ahead; pier dropoff is to the right. All cars entering Port Everglades are subject to
search. All persons must have identification to enter the Port.

Ongoing construction at FLL Airport


The Ft. Lauderdale Airport has ongoing construction in the road way where busses drop off disembarking guests between
Terminal 1 and 2. A temporary walkway is available accessing both terminals. The Airlines at these terminals are as follows:
Airtran, Southwest, Alaska, Allegiant, Frontier, Silver Airways, United Airlines, Virgin America, Air Canada and Delta
Airlines.

After construction is complete, further construction will commence between terminal 3 and 4
