Task Number Task Reflection

1 Creating Spider Diagrams I have very thoroughly

thought about my three ideas,
and finished the spider
diagrams. They were quick to
make, and feature very
necessary information

2 Writing Proposals The proposals I have created

are a very detailed set of
documents outlining my exact
intentions semantically.

3 Creating Mood Boards These are a very detailed

visual inspiration for what the
project will become.

4 Font Tests and Colour Tests I have used the mood boards
to full potential, and
elaborated into more detail
with these tests.

5 Outlining Target Audiences My two main ideas have been

studied in depth, and I have
decided which audience they
appeal to most, and how to
market the product to them.

6 Article Plans With inspiration from the

target audience
segmentation, I have planned
a series of articles that are
engaging for each audience.

7 Creating Pitch With the use of all prior

material, creating a
presentation was very easy
and straightforward.

8 Pitching the idea Although my presenting style

could use some work, I
managed to clearly outline
my ideas for the unit.

9 Risk Assessment, With my experience in other

Contingency Plan and units, these documents were
Location Recce simple to create and I very
intuitively worked out the
Production Log

problems I could face, as well

as the locations I should use.

10 Writing Articles Although I would continuously

edit these, the main bulk of
the articles was finished one
allocated lesson.

11 Photography With a very good idea of what

I wanted to do, the
photography was very quick
and straightforward.

12 Editing Photos As a novice in photo editing,

this was very challenging,
however I competently put
together photos which I
deemed fit for the newspaper.

13 Editing Newspaper This was a long process that I

had to pass over many times.
During editing I was
recommended to make many
changes, and this was
somewhat demoralizing in
some cases. However the
product turned out well.
