RESPONSIBILITIES AS A SAFETY OFFICER:

● Ensure all workers have (PPE).

● Conduct safety toolbox meeting and weekly safety talks.
● Monitor activates such as hot work, welding, excavation, un-safe acts & housekeeping.
● Identifying safety Hazards and taking corrective action.
● Checking of proper access and barricades.
● Inspection of the worker and equipment in the job site to ensure proper safety
procedures.
● Taking corrective actions for unsafe practices.
● Placement of signs and barricades for Hazardous areas
● Identifying corrective actions for unsafe practices.
● Colour code system implementation monthly / quarterly.
● Coverage of all critical activities including lifting and hot.
● Initiate immediate stoppage of any operation that could cause death / injury or extensive
damage to property safety for assigned employee.
