EVENTS ROUND UP
50+ Group
In April we enjoyed a trip to Cadbury World. We
learned about the history of chocolate through
a British Sign Language Interpreter on screen.
In May we went for a BSL walk at Ferry
Meadows. We stopped half way for an ice
cream and drink and played games at the end.

Peterborough Coffee Morning

This event has become very popular within the
community! It is lovely to see the room filled
with people. People are able to enjoy a nice
catch up with friends over a coffee and cake.

Peterborough Drop-In
We were lucky to have Sign Live visit us and
put on a workshop explaining how to use the
service. NHS staff also joined the workshop as
they will be using the service within A&E in the
future.

Wisbech Drop-In
On Friday 1st June we had a quiz consisting of
teams of 4 or 5 people. The quiz winners were
Joan Hartley’s team.

Fenland Drop-In
People are really enjoying this event. It’s nice
for people to share their experiences including
stories of past education.

Ely Drop-In:
The over 55 community was able to update
their “Emerald Club Card” for discount on meals
in the pub. We also welcomed some new faces
to the group.

Cambridge Drop-In:
The hall at CDA has now been carpeted. We’ve
also enjoyed the warm weather and lunch
together.

Huntingdon Drop-In:
Huntingdon Drop in has recently moved to
the Blue Room in Saxongate. The move has
been extremely successful with lots of people
enjoying a complimentary tea and coffee. We
would love to see you there.

Cambridge Coffee Morning:
