19th ALL AMERICAN COUNCIL OF THE ORTHODOX
CHURCH IN AMERICA: This year our Orthodox Church
in America will hold the 19th All American Council in Saint
Louis, Missouri. Hierarchs, Clergy, and delegates will
arrive on Monday July 23rd through July 27th and convene
with sessions dedicated towards building up our Orthodox
Diocese of North America and Canada. At our last Parish
Council meeting, The Very Reverend Archpriest Father
John and Matushka Ludmila were duly elected to attend
this 19th All American Council and represent our parish.
We ask that you pray for their safe travels during this
time!

remember each year on this day, Independence Day. Enjoy
your holiday and stay safe.

Great Adventure. This year plans are forming to attend the
musical “Aladdin” in New York City. Cost for this trip is
only $50.00. If we have some parents who might be
interested in taking their children to see this play and join
our Diocesan Youth please see Matushka Ludmila at the
candle desk for more info.
SPECIAL THANK YOU to our Sisterhood who prepares
our monthly luncheons. As the Summer approaches we will
not have our next luncheon until September when His
Eminence Archbishop Michael makes His annual visit. We
thank, Matushka Ludmila, Nadja Schmidt, Matushka
Donnalynn, Olga Proskourina and Monja Crandall who
bakes the best cakes for your desserts. Special Thanks also
to our brotherhood who assists with the cooking Fred
Schmidt and Peter Budkin, also. We are very grateful for
your dedication to this initiative and we wish you all Many
Blessed Years!
General Confession will be held on the first Sunday of the
month, July 1st at 9:30 AM. It is important that we cleanse
our souls of all sins that we have committed either
voluntary or involuntary. Please make an effort to attend!
Hall Rental: Our Parish Home Hall is available for rent for
parties or other events. Cost to rent this Hall is a donation
of $250.00. No cooking on the premises but food can be
brought in. Please call Matushka Ludmila at the Parish
home for more information.
SUMMER IS UPON US: As the season of summer begins
so do the bills that have to be met due to parishioners away
on vacation. Air conditioning cost rise due to the use of
electricity. Please remember your church when you are
away as we are still here every Sunday and holidays. If you
would like to contribute towards the electricity bill for the
summer please see Matushka Ludmila at the candle desk.
WHAT CAN WE DO TO INCREASE PARISH
MEMBERSHIP? Is it possible for you to invite one new
person to church each Sunday? Do you know anyone who
might be searching to become an Orthodox Christian? We
need your help in attracting new members to our Parish. Is
it possible to encourage a family member to come with you
to church? Please help Us!
CHOIR MEMBERS ARE NEEDED! Wouldn’t it be nice
to lend your voice to sing the responses to the Divine
Liturgy each and every Sunday. There is a lot of room in
the choir loft! If you are in church don’t be afraid to walk
up to the choir loft and lend your voice! You are welcome
to come up the stairs as often as you like. WE NEED YOU!
EPISTLE READERS: Please see Father John if you are
interested in learning how to read the Sunday Epistle.
Father John will teach you how to chant the Epistle! All we
need is you to say YES!
THE MONTH OF JULY is time for enjoyment and
relaxation. Please be careful if you are traveling on the
roads, swimming in your neighbor’s pool or taking a
friendly dip in the ocean. Don’t forget that our church is
open for you as we don’t take summer breaks! If you are
away, take a moment to attend the nearest Orthodox
Church or just come to church here! We have air
conditioning so make an effort to join us every Sunday.
