 INTRODUCTION

The homemade water filter is an experiment that will be made with the purpose of
purifying the water, which is useful for the countryside where it is not counted on a
suitable service of aqueduct for the community.

This product is elaborated with materials of easy attainment, that they could be in
our house or rather are presents in our daily life. Its construction consists of seven
very simple steps, which were observed more ahead.
1.1 OBJECTIVES

1.1.1 GENERAL MISSION

Elaboration of a water purifier to improve the consumption of the water in the life of
the human being.

1.1.2 SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

 To obtain water purified by means of a simple and homemade product.

 To improve the quality of water for consumption in the countryside.

 To create homemade filter that allows the purification of the rainwater.

 To recognize minerals that the purification of the water allows.

1.2 EXPOSITION OF THE PROBLEM

1.2.1 DEFINITION OF THE PROBLEM

In Colombia 28% of the rural population face one of the most serious situations by
the lack of an aqueduct adapted for the community, which stops many is a problem
the attainment of the water, this forces the people to consume well water and rivers,
exponiéndoseasí to the diseases.

In the countryside it is where less is a suitable potable water system. This causes
negative effects in the community, reason why it is necessary to have a filter of water
to the reach, which allows the purification of this for the consumption of the human
being.

Aside from the falencias of the cover, the quality of the water that receives the
Colombian field is not the best one. A report of the National Institute of Salud (INS)
revealed that single the 15.1 percent (900,000 people) uses water in good conditions
for human consumption, whereas the 43.6 percent used low water in treatment or
protection and the 23.3 percent used crude water, seizure directly of the sources.
