Checklist Air con ( 12 and 24 Volt )

356 , 357 ,358 = 24 Volt
354 = 12 Volt

1) Check if both blower fans are running ( heat exchanger on roof ) .............
if not check the jumper on PCB board
Airflow direction is to the boom ( up wards ) .............
Check the delta temp between inlet and outlet ( Min 8 –10 ° )

2) Is the compressor running ( check indicator lights on PCB board and power to the
compressor ? ..............

3) Is the system properly filled ? ( 800 –900 Gramm ) ..............

Check sight glass

4) Check the four way water valve ( only 2 hoses should be hot ) ..............

5) Check the temperature of the 2 hoses on the compressor

Suction ( big hose) ..............
Pressure ..............

6) Check the temperature of the hoses on the roof heat exchanger small ..............
big ..............
(Delta temp should min 8 – 10 °)

7) Check the blower outlets in the cab ..............

8) Check the air channel underneath the cab ..............

Check the connections to the 4 way water valve

View to the connector ( harness )

cable 18 = BW black white Plus ( 5 Volt )

cable 19 = W white Signal
cable 20 = RW red white Minus
cable 16 = YB yellow black + 12Volt to close the valve ,- 12 volt to open
cable 15 = YB yellow black - 12 volt to close the valve , +12 volt to open

On the PCB board ( right behind the driver seat 9) we have to connections
Com 1 2 cable ( temperature sensor )
Com 2 5 cable water valve connections , on the board you have the cable colour stamped on

1) Check the cable connection ( remember sometimes the extension cable changes colour
without notice )
2) Check if the temp sensor is connected
