$5,000 per year MACQUARIE UNIVERSITY ASEAN SCHOLARSHIP
Congratulations on your successful application to a Macquarie University course. I am delighted to inform
you that you have been selected to receive $5,000 per year Macquarie University ASEAN Scholarship.

The award value and other information about your scholarship are provided below. To take up your
scholarship offer please sign the scholarship acceptance below and return with your Acceptance of Offer
Form.

Please note that as a scholarship recipient you should deduct $2,500 from the commencement fee quoted
on your Letter of Offer. Each subsequent semester, the university will automatically credit your student
account with a $2,500 contribution towards your tuition fees for this course.

As this scholarship is only available to a select group of students we encourage you to accept your offer and
this scholarship without delay in order to guarantee your eligibility. We look forward to welcoming you to

Scholarship: $5,000 per year Macquarie University ASEAN Scholarship

Award value: $5,000 per Academic Year payable towards tuition fees

When paid: $2,500 credited each semester against tuition fees prior to the first week of class.

Scholarship Eligibility for this scholarship is based on meeting all the following criteria:

• Apply for an undergraduate course or a postgraduate course through a registered Macquarie
University agent or through the university’s online application system. (This scholarship does not
apply to Macquarie University International College Diploma, Foundation and Intensive courses)
• Meet the University’s Academic and English requirements for the Macquarie University course
offered.
• Be a citizen of an acknowledged ASEAN Member State: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia,
Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam.
• Enrol and begin your course as per your Letter of Offer. Commencement may not be deferred.
• Enrol in a full-time study load throughout the course.
• To remain eligible, students need to stay enrolled in their original approved course of study.
