Evolution Long Haul features Multicarrier Adaptive Bandwidth
Control, Ceragon’s unique technology for dynamic traffic
distribution over multiple RF carriers. Packet distribution is based
on the physical layer and is independent of packet flows and sizes.
Evolution automatically scales with available channels and
capacities. Adaptive modulation is used to adjust link capacity
dynamically. Compared with systems designed for TDM, Evolution
Long Haul provides substantially higher service availability.
Advanced QoS mechanisms ensure that the most important traffic
is always prioritized.
All-Indoor and Split-Mount
In addition to the industry-standard all-
indoor configuration, Ceragon provides a
technological breakthrough with its unique
split-mount configurations. Evolution Long
Haul is the only solution in its class to provide
full transmit power in split-mount providing
the highest system gain in the market to deliver
robust and resilient links. Network operators

Radio Protection Space Diversity

In addition to traditional N+1 protection where one standby
channel protects all other channels, Evolution Long Haul is able to
adjust overall capacity dynamically depending on the number of
available channels and their capacities. For example, if a channel
has degraded due to fading or failure, it is excluded from the
distribution and its bandwidth remains available for high-priority
traffic.
Space diversity protects against multi-path fading by use of two
or more physically separated antennas. This technique is used to
improve performance on troublesome paths. Evolution Long Haul
employs space diversity with an IF combiner in all configurations
including all-indoor and split-mount.
Spectrum Efficiency
Evolution Long Haul allows for flexible channel arrangements.
Adjacent and co-channel operation with XPIC can be used in any
combination. Different frequency bands can be combined in one
