various nursing situation.

B. METHODS OF TEACHING/MASTERY OF NURSING SKILLS 5 4 3 2 1


1. Conducts specific area orientation to the students and discusses with
them the specific objectives and scope of their learning activities.
2. Observes acceptable house rules or guidelines for the student’s
behavior applicable to the RLE setting (uniforms, haircut, approach etc.)
3. Explains the grading system including the student’s requirements in a
clear and concise manner.
4. Demonstrates organization and effectiveness in managing student’s
activities inside the ward.
5. Gives immediate learning feedback (NCP, drug analysis etc.)
6. Utilizes interesting and appropriate teaching strategies and integrates
necessary values applicable to nursing situation to enhance the student’s
appreciation of the nursing profession.
7. Supervises student’s activities.
8. Adjusts his/her method of instruction to the student’s individual
learning abilities.
9. Shows mastery of the nursing skills required in the specific clinical
setting (communication, skills, and other nursing techniques, approach)
10. Conducts pre and post conference and evaluation of student’s
activities inside the ward.
