Mathematics

Course Description:
The purpose of this two-month course is to prepare you for the SAT. To do so, three books have
been selected and are as follows:
- SAT Math: Advanced Guide and Workbook by The College Panda
- The Official SAT Study Guide: 2018 Edition with 8 Practice Tests
- Barron’s SAT: 29th Edition
If you are bringing in your own copy of the books, please make sure that the editions match up to
prevent confusion.

Expectations:
For every math section, you are expected to bring The College Panda’s SAT Math: Advanced
Guide and Workbook. Occasionally, you may be asked to bring one or both other books. You are
expected to complete homework before the class begins. The homework listed on the schedule is
the homework due that day, not the homework assigned that day. Please be prepared for any
discussions regarding the problems or the assigned readings.

Below is a tentative schedule of how this class will go. Please note that it is subject to change at
any point of the class.
