i) No further Notification will be issued by the University unless there is any

change in the schedule. No Individual intimations will be sent.
ii) Printout of application along with enclosures should be submitted at the time
of verification and counseling at the university.

NRI QUOTA SEATS IN SRI PADMAVATHI MEDICAL COLLEGE FOR WOMEN (UNDER SVIMS) IN
THE STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH FOR THE YEAR 2018-19
I. Regulations:
i) The following are the Regulations for admission of students into Management
Quota (Category -B and Category –C (NRI)) seats in MBBS / BDS Courses in
Private Un – Aided Non – Minority, Minority Medical and Dental Colleges and
NRI Quota Seats in Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women (Under SVIMS,
Tirupati) in Andhra Pradesh for the year 2018-19.
ii) The candidates shall appear and secure cut off score and above in the NEET UG -
2018 exam.
iii) The Rank and Score in NEET UG - 2018 shall be the basis for the selection into
MBBS and BDS Courses subject to these regulations.
iv) The List of Medical & Dental Colleges and No. of Seats available under Category-B
and C is given in the Annexure - I.
v) The admissions into the colleges are subject to the permission by the Government
of India / Medical Council of India / Dental Council of India and affiliation to the
Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences for the academic year 2018-19.
vi) In case any new Medical Colleges or Dental Colleges are affiliated to the University /
any college is permitted by the Govt. of India for the academic year 2018-19, the seats
in those colleges also will be filled up. No further Notification will be issued.
II. Minimum age:

The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31-12-2018. The candidates
born on or after 02-01-2002 are not eligible for admission into MBBS/BDS Courses.

III. Eligibility:

i) A) Candidates from all over the country are eligible for admission into UG
Medical and Dental Courses and as per Medical Council of India / Dental Council
of India / Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences regulations.

B) The 15% NRI Quota Seats (23 Seats) available at Sri Padmavathi Medical
College for Women (under SVIMS), Tirupati shall be filled with the eligible
candidates who are Children/Wards of bonafide NRI residents of Andhra Pradesh
origin. In the event of Non-availability of sufficient candidates from AP origin,
they shall be filled with the eligible candidates from All India basis.

ii) Candidates should have qualified at NEET UG - 2018 and shall secure not less than
50% of marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) / Bio-
technology in the qualifying examination are eligible for admission into MBBS /

 BDS courses and they have to fulfill other relevant conditions laid down in these
regulations as per Medical Council of India / Dental Council of India guidelines.

iii) The candidates should secure the following cut-off scores in NEET UG-2018
conducted by CBSE, New Delhi for the year 2018-19.

*Lower percentage / percentile of marks for SC/ST/BC/PH is only for eligibility purpose and
will not be applicable for reservation as there are no reservation quotas for these
categories. Caste certificate issued by other state Governments will be considered for
determining their eligibility for cut-off scores.

iv) Children and wards of bonafide NRI residents, who secured cut-off score in
NEET-2018, are eligible for admission into MBBS and BDS Courses under
Management Quota Category – C Seats.
v) Candidates who have already applied for Competent Authority Quota Seats in
response to this University earlier notification are also eligible for the
management quota seats, but they have to submit online application through
https://appvtmedadm.apntruhs.in/. The Application submitted for Competent
Authority Quota seats will not be considered.
vi) Candidates possessing qualification of the University / Board of an institution
outside the AP State should submit Equivalence certificate issued by the Board of
Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh, to the effect that the qualification
possessed is equivalent to or higher than Intermediate examination conducted by
the Board of Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh at the time of admission
into the college.
vii) Candidates possessing qualification of the University / Board of an institution
outside INDIA should submit Eligibility / Equivalence certificate issued by
Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi and Equivalence certificate issued
by the Board of Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh to the effect that the
qualification possessed is equivalent to or higher than Intermediate examination
conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh at the time
of admission into the college.
viii) The number of seats available for the academic year 2018-19 in MBBS and BDS
Courses under Management Quota in Private Un–Aided Non–Minority, Minority
Medical and Dental colleges will be in accordance with the orders of the MCI /
DCI / GOI / Govt. of AP.

Note: If a candidate is found to have submitted false information or concealed any
relevant information regarding this matter or submitted fake certificate/
document, such candidate is liable to be disqualified for admission and in case
already admitted, the admission will be cancelled. Further disciplinary action
against him/her will be taken by the University.

(iv) APPLICATIONS THROUGH ONLINE:

(i) The on-line application form for determining Merit Position for Competent
Authority quota seats using NEET UG – 2018 scores will be available on the
website http://ntruhs.ap.nic.in and https://appvtmedadm.apntruhs.in/ from
9.00 AM on 24.06.2018 upto 9.00 PM on 30.06.2018.

Note: The candidates are advised to take a print out of the Prospectus / Instructions from the
website http://ntruhs.ap.nic.in or from https://apmedadm.apntruhs.in before
proceeding to fill the application form.

(ii) The candidate should fill the online application form available in the Website with the
data required-for, through internet. The online application form can be filled through
any computer with internet connection (home/internet cafe /net center). The
candidate is advised to fill the online application form after going through the
Prospectus by keeping all the Certificates and ready to enter his/her correct data.

V. Procedure of filling online application and Procedure for online payment:

1. The candidates are advised to take a print out of the Prospectus / Instructions from the
website http://ntruhs.ap.nic.in and https://appvtmedadm.apntruhs.in/ read carefully
before proceeding to fill the application form.

2. Visit website https://appvtmedadm.apntruhs.in/ through Internet Explorer 11 version

only to fill the application form.
3. Keep the following documents required to fill the application form:
i. NEET – UG 2018 Admit card issued by the CBSE.
ii. NEET – UG 2018 Score card issued by the CBSE.
iii. Date of Birth Certificate. (SSC or its equivalent certificate).
iv. 10+2 certificate.
v. Credit card / Debit card.
4. The Registration number sent to the registered mobile after entering the basic details should
be noted for further use. The Registration number should be kept confidentially and not to
disclose or share with others.

5. Application Fee: Rs.3000/- can be paid through Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking.
6. The fee paid by the applicants is not refundable and not adjusted to a future date
under any circumstances.

7. The candidate should sign at the declaration area in the print out of the online application
form. The candidates need not submit Printout of Application by post.

 8. The candidate should paste a passport size photograph which is similar to that applied
for NEET-UG 2018 in the space provided in the print out of online application form and
submit at the time of original certificates verification and Counseling.
9. The candidate should submit the print-out of the filled - in online application form along
with two sets of attested copies of required certificates at the Dr. NTR University of
Health Sciences, Vijayawada at the time of original certificates verification and
Counseling.

10. The same application will be considered for all the rounds of the counseling including
MOP-UP round counseling and also for stray vacancies.

Note: 1. The candidature of the applicant will not be considered for admission to MBBS and
BDS Courses unless the print-out application form along with the requisite
enclosures is submitted at the time of verification of original certificates and
counseling.

1. The Candidates whose names are not present in the merit list even though
submitted their online application and taken printout, such candidates have to
approach the University with relevant documents one day before the
commencement of counseling.

X. PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF ONLINE APPLICATION FORM FOR

DETERMINATION OF MERIT POSITION:

Do's and Dont’s

Do not use mobiles and tablets to Apply. Use only computers.

Do not select or enter false information which can be liable for Criminal Action.
Avoid using slow internet facility.
Keep your mobile with you while applying and do not block SMS.

Open the website https://appvtmedadm.apntruhs.in Home page displayed as follows.

1. Click on the Online Registration.
2. Registration Form appears in which Candidate has to give the details to register.

3. After entering the details click on validate button.

4. If all the details you entered is correct, You will receive the Registration number. Please Note the
Registration number for further correspondence and click OK

5. Then enter Testing Id and the Registration number for updating the details of the candidate and click on
Validate Button.

6. The application form will be displayed as shown below

7. After filling the form, click on Save and Exit Button. This process can be repeated till all the data
you entered is correct. Then click on Save and Pay Button to proceed for payment. Depending on
your caste category, the Registration fee is varied. Once paid you will not get any refund. Hence, you are
requested to double check the eligibility conditions yourself and pay the fee.

8. Now you will be directed to the Payment Gateway click OK

9. Select you mode of payment and Make Payment

10. After payment you will receive a Successful Payment message

11. Click OK Button. You will get your filled application form take printout of this form and affix a recent
passport size photo on the space provided and submit the form at the time of certificate verification.

VI. Counseling for allotment of Seats:

1. The seats shall be filled through counseling as per merit from the candidates
who have applied and score/rank secured in NEET UG – 2018.
ii. The Date, Time and Venue of Counseling will be notified separately on the
University website.
iii. The candidates shall attend the counseling in person and present when called in
the order of rank/merit.

iv. If a candidate fails to be present he will be declared absent and the next
candidate in the merit will be considered.

v. The candidates shall attend with printout of application form along with all
Original Certificates and D.D.s towards Counseling Fee, University Fee and
Tuition fee.
vi. Candidates who fail to produce or to submit original certificates or demand
drafts for university fee and tuition fee will not be considered for counseling.
Such Candidates will be declared absent and the next candidate in the merit
will be considered.
VII. Fee Particulars:
(i) Counseling Fee:
The Candidates attending the Counseling shall pay non – refundable Counseling
Fee of Rs. 6,000/- (Rupees Six thousand only) in the form of crossed Demand
Draft drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of “Registrar, Dr. NTR
University of Health Sciences” payable at Vijayawada.

(ii) University Fee:

The selected candidates shall pay non – refundable University fee in respect Category-
B & C seats in Private Un-aided Non-Minority & Minority Medical and Dental
Colleges in the form of crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Registrar,
Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences” payable at Vijayawada as given below:

 (iii) Tuition Fee:
As per G.O.Ms.No.30 & 31 HM & FW., (C1) Department Dt.17-04-2015, the
following is the tuition fee in respect of the Category-B & C seats in Pvt. Un-
aided Non-Minority and Minority Medical and Dental Colleges.

Note - 2: Candidates willing to opt both MBBS / BDS are informed to bring the Tuition Fee
in the form of 2 Demand Drafts i.e. 1. For Rs. 3,00,000/- and 2. For
Rs. 9,73,388/- and submit the tuition fee D.D.s immediately after selection of
seat in the University.

The candidates are informed to pay the remaining balance amount of tuition fee
for BDS Course Under B & C Category and for MBBS course under C category at
the respective college on the day of admission.

Note - 3: The candidates selected for MBBS Course in Sri Padmavathi Medical College
for Women (under SVIMS), Tirupati have to pay the tuition fee at the
respective college at the time of admission. Visit SVIMS Website:
http://svimstpt.ap.nic.in for details of tuition fee and other fee particulars.

Note –4: The candidates selected against Management Quota Category-C (NRI Quota)
Seats shall pay the fee fixed for management Quota Category-B seat on the
day of Counseling and the remaining balance amount of Tuition Fee shall be
paid to the Principal of the respective college on the day of admission to the
college.

The Tuition Fee has to be paid in the form of crossed Demand Draft drawn
on any Nationalized Bank in favour of “The Secretary, APMDCMA”
payable at Vijayawada on the day of Counselling.

Note –5: Candidates are informed that they have to pay the university fee and
Tuition Fee on the day of selection/counseling itself. If the candidate fails to
pay the fee after choosing the seat, the seat will be cancelled automatically
without any notice. The candidates will not be given any extension of time
to pay the fee.

The selected candidates shall submit bank guarantee for a period of one year.

V. Penal Action: Will be notified later

VI. Joining Time: The selected candidates shall join the college within the specified date.

VII. Closure of Admission: As per MCI/ DCi Schedule

VIII. Powers of the Admission Committee:

The Admission Committee shall have the power to revise its decision in any case
and to direct the Principal concerned to take further action either to select or to
cancel the selection, or to admit or cancel the admission before the closure of
admissions. Selections shall not be questioned after closure of admissions.

IX. The Regulations of Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences are applicable with regard
to break of study, cancellation and re-admission.

 INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES ABOUT COUNSELING FOR MBBS & BDS COURSES
AND ANY FURTHER DETAILS.
The candidates shall attend the counseling with the following original certificates
(1) Printout of online application form duly affixing passport size photo with signature at
declaration area.
(2) Original NEET – UG 2018 Admit card issued by the CBSE
(3) Original NEET – UG 2018 Score card issued by the CBSE
(4) SSC certificate or Equivalent Examination showing the Date of Birth of the Candidate.
(5) Intermediate of A.P. or its equivalent examination with 10+2 pattern.
(6) Declaration (Annexure-II) on White Paper signed by both the candidate and NRI
alongwith evidential documents such as Green Card/Citizenship Card/Bank
Statements/Pass-port of the respective Country/Electricity Bill etc., if candidates
opting for Management Quota Category C (NRI Quota) Seats in Un-aided Non-
Minority, Minority Medical and Dental Colleges.

(7) For 15% of NRI Quota seats in Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women (under
SVIMS), Tirupati.- Declaration (Annexure-II) on White Paper signed by both the
candidate and NRI alongwith evidential documents such as Green Card/Citizenship
Card/Bank Statements/Pass-port issued by the respective Country/Electricity Bill etc.,
and proof of AP origin in respect of the NRI.
(8) Caste Certificate, if applicable.
(9) Minority Certificate issued by the Minority welfare Department/concerned authority.
(10) Differently abled (PH) Certificate, if applicable.
(11) Subsequent notification with regard to conduct of further counselings will be notified
through Dr.NTR UHS website only. Please visit the university website regularly for
subsequent notifications / instructions till the completion of admission process.
(12) Two sets of Photocopies of all certificates with attestation.
