APPENDIX A

AN EXAMPLE – FOR REFERENCE SAKE ONLY - OF THE DUTY LIST FOR

THE COMMITTEE DURING RAG WEEK.

RAG WEEK PROGRAMME

23 JANUARY 2004 – 7 FEBRUARY 2004
PLEASE! RAG comes first for the next few weeks. If you have nothing to do please ask and you will receive!! Let your
voog know if you are going to be somewhere off campus, just in case we urgently need to contact you.

RAG week is now in full swing! Just a few things to take note of:

• NB! IT DOESN’T MEAN THAT YOU DON’T HAVE TO WORK OR HELP IF YOUR NAME IS NOT ON THE
LIST – YOU HELP OUT WHENEVER AND WHERE EVER AT ALL TIMES! I DON’T WANT TO SEE YOU
DOING NOTHING, ESPECIALLY DURING RAG WEEK.

PLEASE REMEMBER: 1. Do not be late for any function, meeting, etc!!!

2. Lunch is at 12:00 (at the stage) – please keep the stage clean.
3. Supper is at 16:00 (at the Stage) – bring your utensils!
Eating is compulsory!! If you are going to be elsewhere, we will save food for you,
please let us know.
4. You will be told each day what to wear the next day. It is your responsibility to make
sure your clothing is marked and clean. If you lose any item of clothing, you will be
expected to replace it at your own cost.
5. Take your vitamins!!
6. ABSOLUTELY NO:
- NO fraternizing with the Sponsors!!
- NO drinking!!
- NO special arrangement with your buddies for free/extra beers or tickets – you
will be expelled from the committee immediately.
7. Please get alarm clocks – I’m not waking up the entire
Committee each day!
8. All the meetings have to be attended by each and every committee member.

• You may stay overnight in the stage area if you so wish. It will be open the whole week. It is compulsory to sleep
over in the stage on Friday, 6 February 2004.

• ALL MONEY RECEIVED MUST BE GIVEN TO BRIAN THAT SAME DAY TO BE BANKED!

• Please wear you RAG clothes, especially your overall, whenever you have a duty of sort (e.g. selling tickets, clothes
etc.). It looks really great when we are all co-ordinated dress-wise throughout the next week! Besides, this is the
only time you can really live in your pakkie!
