Implications

Implications for Theory. As it has been in countless times reiterated in this

study, the technological advancements happening in the world continues to redefine

both the roles of technology and the teachers in the field of education. The good effects

brought about by integrating technology with education has been discussed by the

proponents of the Technology, Pedagogy, and Content Knowledge (TPACK) Theory, the

foundational principle this research activity. Thus, the results the research activity has

collected in its duration have in a way or two strengthened and supported the very

theory it was anchored on. Inasmuch, the study results provided the salient components

of the TPACK Theory with a corresponding implication.

Content Knowledge. The study revealed that there is more to lessons and

literature than having them delivered in a traditional manner. A teacher may make use

of a courseware to present his lectures in more creative ways possible.

Pedagogical Knowledge. The results of the study only proves that a

courseware can aid in the classroom management, as well as develop and enhance the

teachers' strategies, techniques, and methods of teaching.

Pedagogical Content Knowledge. The research activity has paved way for

curriculum implementers to relate the salient features and components of the recently

implemented K to 12 Curriculum in the delivery of their lessons.

Technological Knowledge. In an age where learners are used to anything

digital, the results gathered by the researchers will help teachers facilitate learning while

adhering to the learners’ most common way of learning.

Technological Content Knowledge. The outcome of this research project will

in a way or another help the learners in their acquisition and absorption of the content

presented while being delivered through technology-aided instruction.

Technological Pedagogical Knowledge. The results collected will put the

teacher’s capacity to a test on whether or not he can strike a balance between the

technological and the pedagogical aspect of the learning environment.

Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge. The results have proven

that certainly, technology, pedagogy, and content and relation to each can be fused so

as to deliver a holistic learning, in its desire to offer a relevant and education.

Implications on Practice. The overall evaluation of the multimedia courseware

was 'Exemplary'. On this note, the researchers implied that this courseware can be of

great help to aid the teachers in facilitating the independent learning of the students. In

addition to this, the educators should explore and make the most out of learning

opportunities. However, despite this positive implication, teachers must keep in mind

that they still need to consider the vitality of their presence inside the classroom. Also,

the use of this multimedia courseware is a shared responsibility between the learner and

the teacher.

The use of technology in learning is a form of extrinsic motivation so that

students are highly encouraged to learn however, technology-driven instruction is only

as effective if the students are intrinsically motivated as well.

Recommendations

Based on the results of the study, the researchers came up with

recommendations that would help develop further studies regarding the integration of

the multimedia tool through a courseware inside the classroom.

Correspondingly, during the process of validating the courseware, several

recommendations from tested experts emerged.

In the view of foregoing conclusions, the following are the recommendations:

1. The teacher should integrate the courseware in classroom instruction to

improve student’s motivation and engagement as well as address the different

intelligence strengths of the learners. There are many ways to enhance classroom

instruction, interaction and learning through integrating technology-mediated instruction

just like the use of gamified courseware.

2. Courseware developers could find ways to improve and enhance the

developed courseware. The courseware, Mythagon, can be improved in ways such as:

creating home and log in pages; provides tutorials; troubleshooting bugs and errors;

and, organizing contents, including sounds, text and images.

3. Curriculum Designers should consider commissioning or funding research

activities similar and parallel to this one. They must as well look at the possibility of

coming up with innovative, modern and effective curriculum designs integrating

technology with the subject courses.

4. Future researchers shall have the courseware pilot-tested and constantly

validated to ensure its validity, reliability, acceptability, effectiveness and applicability in

the classroom. Future research activities can adapt from the Learner's Materials.

Developments can be made by utilizing the rest of the stories found in these material for

a wider and fuller scope of learning experience.
