College, Karda, Jodhpur-Barmer Highway, Jodhpur Rajasthan was granted recognition of B.Ed. course of one year duration with an annual intake of 100 students from the academic session 2008- 2009 vide order No. NRC/NCTE/RI-785/2008/59017-23 at. 26.08.2008. AND WHEREAS the NRC took note of news published in Dainik Bhaskar. on 20" and 21% January, 2015 regarding issuance of fake B.Ed. degrees by the institution. AND WHEREAS, the NRC in its 231% meeting held from 21* to 24 January, 2015 decided that before withdrawal of recognition Show Cause Notice under Section 17 of the NCTE Act, 1993 be issued to the institution on the matter of issuance of fake degrees. for B.Ed. course: The Committee also directed the institution to submit the details / list of candidates awarded B.Ed. degree since grant of recognition by the NCTE more than the approved intake given by the NCTE. AND WHEREAS a Show Cause Notice under Section 17 of NCTE Act, 1993 was issued to the institution on 11.03.2015. AND WHEREAS the institution submitted its reply / written representation vide e-mail dt. 11.04.2015. AND. WHEREAS the reply / written representation of the institution was considered by the NRC in its 236" meeting held on 29-30" April and 1-2"! May, 2015 carefully considered and following observation was made : “Reply of the Show. Cause Notice issued to the institution by NRC’s letter No. RJ-785 dt. 11" March, 2015 submitted by the institution is not acceptable. It is evident that the institution has misled the NRC by submitting wsong information.” AND WHEREAS, the Committee decided that yecngnition of the institution is withdrawn from the-end of the academic session next following the date of the order of withdrawal. NOW THEREFORE, the recognition of the institution namely Marwar B.Ed. College, Karda, Jodhpur-Barmer Highway, Jodhpur Rajasthan which was granted for B.Ed. course of one year duration with an annual intake of 100 students vide order No, NRC/NCTE/RI-785/2008/59017-23 dt, 26.08.2008 is hereby withdrawn from the academic session 2015-2016 under. Section 17 of the NCTE Act, 1993. NOW THEREFORE, the institution and the affiliating body is hereby girected to take note of the following provision contained under Section 17(3) and 17(4) = “One, the recognition of a recognized institution is withdrawn under sub- section (1), such institution shall discontinue the course or training in teacher education, and the’ concerned University or the examining body shall cancel affiliation of the institution in accordance with the order passed under sub-section (1); with effect from the end of the academic session next following the date of communication of the said order. = “Tf an institution offers any course or training in teacher education after the coming into force of the order withdrawing. recognition under sub-section ()), or where an institution offering .@ course or training in teacher education immediately before the appointed day fails or neglects to obtain recognition or permission under this Act, the qualification in teacher education obtained pursuant to such course or training or after undertaking a course or training in such institution, shall not be treated as a valid qualification for purposes of employment under the Central Government, Ne3 any State Government or University, or in any school college or Other educational body aided by the. Central Government or any ‘State Government.” AND THEREFORE, if the institution is aggrieved by an order made Under Section 17 of the NCTE Act, 1993 may prefer an appeal under Section 18 of the NCTE Act, 1993 to the Council within such period as may be prescribed and no appeal shall beadmitted if it is preferred after the expiry of the period prese-xribed therefor.
