Activities : i. Pre-lesson
Name the habitats and answer where do they find the animals by using the expressions for
asking for attention.
ii. Lesson development
a. Pupils work in small groups to discuss the answers before answering them in a quiz.
b. Pupils must raise up their hands and use the expressions like I know the answer! /
Can I try, please? / Can I guess, please? before answering.
c. Encourage pupils to answer depending on the level of literacy of pupils.
d. Proficient pupils could be given extra tasks . Less proficient pupils to be given
support
iii. Post-lesson
Ask pupils to work in groups of five to share what they remember from the lesson. More
literate pupils can say it as a speaking activity
