OUTSTANDING GENERAL PARENTS-TEACHERS ASSOCIATION (GPTA) OFFICER FOR

SCHOOL YEAR 2017-2018

1. Attached herewith is a letter from Ms. Jeane Cruz- De Leon, President,

federation of Parents-Teachers Association of Flora Primary School , dated
March 17, 2016 re: division-wide search of the Most Outstanding General
Parents – Teachers Association (GPTA) Officers from public elementary
school in Flora Capas Tarlac, contents of which are self-explanatory, for
information and appropriate action.

2. Particular attention is invited to paragraphs 3 and 4 of the said letter and

the guidelines of the said search.

3. All School Heads are strongly enjoyed to support this endeavor.

4. Immediate and wide dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.

Madam:

Greeting!

The Federation of Parents – Teacher Association of Flora is embarking on a new program that
encourage Parent Officers to heightened their leadership skills and sense of social
Responsiveness.

Such contributions of the officers should not be ignore but instead be recognized by giving
incentives to them like Certificates and Plaque of Recognition.

We would like to open the search to open the search to all GPTA Officers who are holding any
position for the past two years and above. There will be two (2) main categories at stake
namely.

1. Most Outstanding GPTA Officer 2015-2016 ( Elementary Division) and,

2. Most Outstanding GPTA Officer 2015-2016 ( Secondary Division).

Likewise, we would like to include other award such as Top Five (5) Promising GPTA Officer
2015-2016 for elementary Elementary Division, Top Five (5) Promising GPTA Officer 2015-2016

Attached herewith is the criteria in the selection for the Most Outstanding GPTA Officers 2015-
2016.

Interest GPTA Officers may submitted their document with recommendation letter signed by the
school principal on March 22, 2016, Tuesday, to Dr. Elizalde Q. cena, Chairperson of the Board of
Judges, at SGOD Officer, 4th floor, Schools Division Office-Tarlac Province.

 SEARCH FOR MOST OUTSTANDING GPTA OFFICERS 2015-2016

RATIONALE:
Based on school Management principal in the education system, the PTA as part of the
stakeholders under the support system must also be recognized in their effort to help uplift the
school’s academic and non-academic performance. Hence, the FPTAM will hold the Search for
Most Outstanding GPTA Officers.

OBJECTIVE:
To encourage the GPTA Officers to participate actively in performing their duties and
responsibilities in order to have a commendable achievements of schools.

MECHANICS:

The Federation of Parents – Teacher Association of Flora Primary School will be holding a
Search for Most Outstanding General Parents – Teachers Association (GPTA) Officers. The
search is open to all GPTA Officers who are holding any position for the past two (2) years and
above. There will be six (6) categories at stake namely 1) Most Outstanding (GPTA ) Officers
School Year 2015-2016 ( Elementary Division), 2) Most Outstanding (GPTA ) Officers School Year
2015-2016 3) (Elementary Division),3) Top Five ( 5) promising GPTA Officers for School Year
2015-2016 (elementary Division), 4) Top Five, ( 5) promising GPTA Officers for School Year 2015-
2016 (Secondary Division) , 5) Best in Innovative Practices ( Elementary Division) , and 6) Best in
Innovative Practices ( Secondary Division) .

* Action Plans and development Plan for the past 2 years
* Implementation and accomplishment Report for the past 2 years

Inter-Personal Relationship of the GPTA Officer
* Furnished Report about Resources about Resourcefulness and
adaptability to School Culture of the GPTA Officers from the School
Faculty President noted by the School Head

CRITERIA FOR OUTSTANDING GPTA OFFICERS:

* Achievements and Projects in his/ her respective schools or homeroom 30%
* Length of service as GPTA Officer 20%
* Narrative Remark of the GPTA Officer from School Head
( Furnished Report from the Faculty President noted by the School Head) 20%
* Interview by the Board of Judges 30%

* Achieved the most number of innovative and unique practices 35%

* Certificate of Appreciation will be given to all participants;
* Plaque , Certificate of Recognition and Cash will be awarded during the Awarding
Ceremony

TIMELINE:
* March 22-30 - Submission of documents to SGOD Office
* April !18-19 - Validation of documents by the BOJ
* April 20 - Interview of Candidates at AVR 2, SDO FLORA from 9:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m
* April 21 - Finalization of Results
* April 30 - Awarding of Ceremories
