following instructions.

Opening Speech
Good morning to everyone. On behalf of the Department of B.COM – CA,

Jayagovind Harigopal Agarwal Agarsen College, I would like to welcome all

of you, who have come here to join, participate in the First Prayer

meeting.

The students of Department of B.COM – CA, Jayagovind Harigopal

Agarwal Agarsen College are curious and innovative. As they are, they

have organized themselves into a prayer meeting. This provides a forum

for the students to share their ideas, knowledge and experiences in their

domains.

The prayer meeting is the supplement to the academic life by

helping the students to continuously learn and improve themselves, so as

to achieve the ever increasing benchmarks of the modern era.

The prayer meeting will also provides them with a platform to work

together and understand each other’s viewpoint better, foster creative

solution building and enable them to view things from a holistic

standpoint.

Prayer Song

Welcome Address

Welcoming everyone is our traditional culture. It is the beginning of a

great success. Hence, I happy to invite Mr. J. JOSEPH KINGSLY of second
year B.Com – CA to welcome the gathering.

Felicitation
Now I would like to call a man who has been helping us to discover what

we need to be and taught us to prepare for success, suggests ways to

recover from setbacks and achieve balanced success. He is none other

than our Principal Sir; I am very much delighted to welcome him to give

felicitation address.

Thirukural Presentation
If a foreigner asks me to suggest him just one book to start with, it'll
always be Thirukkural. Because the Thirukkural literally includes every
quality of a human's life with examples and yet limited within two lines. I
would like to invite Mr. P. Surenraj of III B.Com – CA to enlighten us on
Tirukural.

News Reading
News is important for a number of reasons within a society. Mainly to

inform the public about events that is around them and may affect them.

The major purpose of news is to inform the public, so that they can know

about important events and make informed decisions about their lives. I

am happy to invite Mr. R. Ravindran of III B.Com – CA to present current

news both in Tail and English.

Current News Awareness

Current affairs comprise of news, information, awareness and comprehension

on all that is happening in the world – it is related to every walk of life. It covers
all topics ranging from business, sports, money, politics, education,
employment, crime, and ethics so on and forth. It may be about rising onion
prices, theft in somebody’s shop, or a terrorist attack. It is so important to be
connected to the world; we all are directly or indirectly affected by what goes
around us. We cannot exist in vacuum – all by ourselves, therefore being
connected with world is as important as eating and sleeping.
Now, I invite Ms. D. Sai Sharanya of II B.Com – CA to read the current news
awareness in a meaningful way.

Tamil Kavithaigal

Kavithaigal are the simple way of expressing feelings and thoughts about
life and an object. I am happy to invite Mr. K. Jaiganesh of II B.Com – CA
to present Kavithaigal about “Mother”.

It is a common talk that, what can we do by talking about something alone? I

also believed that, by seeding a viewpoint, we can do nothing. But a man of our

Tamilnadu has proved that, by seeding new thoughts, ideas and viewpoints,

you can change the society and even a generation.

Inspiring Personalities - Presentation

Successful entrepreneurs make the most of bad situations. Somehow they

know how to turn it around and make it work in their favor whether it's in their
professional or personal life. What's interesting is that they didn't necessarily
pick up this skill through a classroom lesson. They learn through years of hard
work, failures, and experiments. As students, we can find success by following
their example. In addition to the crucial skills we already have, here are some
important life lessons we can learn from successful person. Now I am happy to

“Learn from your failures” The most important life lesson entrepreneurs can
teach you is that failure isn't necessarily bad. It shouldn't be the end to your
entrepreneurial efforts. It shouldn't dissuade you from pursuing your other life
goals either. In fact, failure should serve as a lesson and help you make better
choices in the future. To prove this, I invite Ms. A. Anitha Vimalcy of II

Relevance of Yoga in Modern Age

India’s very old tradition of Yoga, a comprehensive discipline of physical,

mental, and spiritual practices which originated in the country, again came to
the fore of global awareness, when June 21 was declared as the International
Day of Yoga by the United Nations General Assembly. The declaration came
after the call for the adoption of 21 June as International Day of Yoga by Indian
Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi during his address to UN General
Assembly on September 27, 2014. Our college has also celebrated on the same
day in a grand manner. Now I invite Ms. R. Gomathi of II B.Com – CA to
deliver the Relevance of Yoga in Modern Age.

It is the new thing in our campus to have a debate. By not wasting time, I
