Evidence: The time is now

This evidence is divided into two parts: A composition and an audio file. Read the
instructions below and make sure you complete both tasks.

A. Answer the questions below. Use the examples as models of the grammar and
vocabulary you have to use.

1. Why didn’t you study English before? (List at least 5 reasons in a

composition.)

Example:

One of the reasons why I didn’t study English before it is because I thought it
was too difficult. I didn’t understand my English teacher at school and that
was frustrating.
  One of the reasons why I had not studied English, was that the school
was not doing so well so it was strong and the learning was not very
good.

 If I had done well in English classes, I would not have started not to
like the language.

 Another reason was that if I had understood when they spoke to me in

English, everything would be so good that the language would have
already learned it.

 The main reason why i had not studied English before, was because i
saw it unnecessary

 Did not understand and also did not pay much attention to that class,
he saw it as something impossible to learn

2. How different would things be if you had learned English before? (Name and
explain at least 5 things.)

Example:

If I had learned English some years ago I would have accepted a job a
multinational company offered me five years ago. One of the requirements
was to speak English and my level back then was very low.
  I would not have missed the opportunity to leave the country to go to
study.

 First for all, if i had learned English before, I would not feel so when I find
myself in need of speaking or understanding English and i succeed in
doing so

 I would not have let pass the opportunites to leave the country in
commission of work with the company which i work

 I would have helped foreign tourists in several occacions when they ask
me something in English and i do not know what they are saying me

 If I had taken English before, I would not be so difficult to do these virtual

courses

B. Record an audio file of yourself answering the following questions. Use the
examples as models of the grammar and vocabulary you have to use.

1. Why are you studying English? (List and explain at least 4 reasons.)

Example:

I’m studying English because I finally decided that if I want to improve my

professional profile becoming bilingual is essential.

 I am studying English because I finally realized that in order to excel in a

job, being bilingual will give a better job.

 I am studying English to graduate.

 I am studying English because I like the language

 I am studying English to undertake my much more my knowledge

2. In what ways are you going to benefit from this learning?

Example:
Being competent in English is going to increase the opportunities of landing a more
satisfying and better-paid job. We live in an international open market and English
is the most important language.

Being a competent person in the language as this will increase my chances to get a
better job or also be able to make an exchange to study in another country. since in
everything that advanced in the world with technologies and others we can be more
open in international fields.
