Results of Interviews with Tourist about Job and Responsibility

Here is our group interview dialogue with tourist
We : Excuse me. May I ask your time for awhile ?
Tourist : yes, of course
We : We are from University state of Jakarta. We have a task from my Lecturer to interview
one of the tourist, and just little question.
Tourist : Ohh okay… Please
We : Well, thanks. What’s your name ?
Tourist : Nika. N-I-K-A
We : nice name. Where are you come from ?
Tourist : Slovenia. You know Slovenia ?
We : Yes, ever heard the name of that country.
Tourist : Slovenia is a coastal sub-Alpine country in southern Central Europe bordering Italy.
We : Ya I see, and I just found out that Slovenia is bordered by Italy. So, how old are you
know ?
Tourist : Thirty years old.
We : How long your stay in here ?
Tourist : I am gonna be here Jakarta or in Java
We : Where are you stay in here ?
Tourist : I will here one week , I’ll be one week in java airlines and I go to Bali.
We : hmm…and What is your purpose in here ?
Tourist : I am being tourist and i want to learn about a history.
We : What is your Job ?
Tourist : I am a tour guide.
We : Where is your job ?
Tourist : Everywhere , tour guide can work everywhere and I am not worked women.
We : Can you explain your job and then described ?
Tourist : Yes I can, So Tour guide is a profession that has a very important role in the world of
tourism, because I have to realize or implement all tourism macro programs made by the
government and private parties. Tour guide I think is an active agent who acts as an ambassador
of the nation and the company that employ them.
We : Why did you choose this job?
Tourist : I chose this job to find a lot of experience because from experience, I was able to
distinguish the variety of life in every tourist attraction.
We : What should be prepared to work as a tour guide ?
Tourist : I must be able to create pleasant conversations with the local community and then it
is necessary to learn the language.
We : What is your responsibility for the work you do?
Tourist : I have a responsibility to my country to provide assistance, information and
interpretations of cultural, historical and contemporary heritage in historical, museum, religious,
educational and other important places.

Tourist : Yes of course…

 Description of Tourist Interviews about Job
On Thursday, April 19 2018 at 12:20 in the afternoon, the group of 14 made a visit to the Old City.
In the Old City we wanted to interview a tourist about job. And before we do the interview, we
have prepared the questions that will be given to the tourist. We interviewed a female tourist, her
name is Nika from Slovenia. He is thirty years old and her job is a tour guide.
The tourist work we interviewed named Nika as a tour guide and the tourists work by exploring in
different countries. Work as a tour guide will work anywhere because a tour guide has a duty to
visit a country that has a distinct culture and historical peculiarities. The information we get from
Nika about the Tour guide is a profession that has a very important role in the world of tourism,
because working as a tour guide must realize or implement all tourism macro programs made by
the government and private parties. Tour guides are also active agents who act as ambassadors of
the nation and the company that employ them. Nika chose this job to find a lot of experience
because from experience can distinguish the various life in every tourist attraction. And which
should be prepared to work as a tour guide is must be able to create pleasant conversations with

responsibility as a tour guide is to provide assistance to my country about information and

various countries of the world.
So, this is the result of interviews from group 14 in Kota Tua, we get the results of interviews with
tourist who work as tour guide.
