A LETTER OF REQUEST FOR ROAD CONSTRUCTION

Dear Honorable Marañon,

The Catholic Ming Yuan College is an institute that caters students from Basic Education to
College located in Hacienda Binitin, Blumentritt, Murcia that gave scholarships for deserving
students to finish their studies. The school believes that to have a good citizens is to have a good
education. And, to have a good education means to have a comfortable and suitable areas for
learning. But due to impassable road, many parents were discourage to send their children in our
school and many students were discouraged to study also.

In line with this intention, we are writing this letter to your notice the bad condition of the road in
our barangay. For the last 2 years the road has been almost impassable. We have made several
requests but the road has been neglected for a long time. The road is very rocky and muddy during
rainy seasons while dusty during dry seasons. There are potholes on the road that is dangerous for
the vehicles that passes every day. This road serves a large number of houses and two schools in
this area.

If this request will be granted, it is not only our school who will benefit from the road construction
but the whole community of Hacienda Binitin and the nearby elementary school located at the
same area. So we are grateful to you if you take action to cement the road.
