Scripture makes it clear that the Biblical Calendar given by YHWH was forgotten by His people.

First
it was the 10 tribes that made up the kingdom of Ephraim as they were dispersed out of Samaria by the
Assyrians and fled for their lives and then assimilated into the Gentile nations.

Next the southern kingdom of Judah (consisting mostly of the tribes of Judah and Benjamin) was
driven out of the Jerusalem by the Babylonians and assimilated into Babylonian culture. It was here
that they fallen Judah adopted the Babylonian Calendar that eventually morphed into the modern day
Jewish Calendar which was also modified by Hillel 2 to shift from the lunar to the Roman solar
calendar.
