*Punctuation Marks:
A punctuation mark helps us to write a sentence meaningfully.
The most common punction marks are:
1. Fullstop (.)
(a) A fullstop is used at the end of a sentence.
(b) A fullstop is used for intials.
2. Comma (,)
A comma is used to separate items in a sentence. But it is not
used before or after and.
3. Semi-Colon {;}
A semi-colon is used to join two sentences instead of a
conjuction. It is like a half fullstop but not a fullstop.
4. Exclamation mark {!}
An exclamation mark is used after interjections to sudden
feelings of shock, wonder, joy and sadness.
5. Colon {:}
A colon is used before a list or to give more explanation of
what we have said.
6. Question mark {?}
A question mark is used at the end of a sentence instead
of a fullstop when asked for some information etc.
7. Inverted Commas (“ “)
Inverted Commas are used to show the exact words of the
speaker.
8. Hyphen (-)
A hyphen is a very small line used to join two or more
short words.

 Sentences:
A sentence is a group of words which are meaningfully
arranged.
