passions.
“TED” stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design - three broad subject areas that are shaping
our future.

About TEDx
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring
people together to share a TED-like experience.
These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx,
where x= independently organized TED event.
TEDxBUET

TEDxBUET is going to be arranged for the first time this year, adding
great value towards international recognition of this pioneer
institution and its brilliant minds.

TEDxBUET will be a prestigious international stage for the heroes of

BUET to highlight their efforts, spread new ideas and share
valuable experiences.

▪ Placement of sponsors’ logos in the videos to be uploaded to the TED official website and the TEDx YouTube channel
having of 8.5 million subscribers. (https://www.youtube.com/user/TEDxTalks)
▪ Provision to display sponsors’ advertisements in big screen during luncheon. ( A 52” monitor will be provided beside
lunch area. )
▪ A thank-you note to the sponsors with a slide containing their logos from the stage at the beginning and at end of the
event.
▪ Name and logo on brochures, Gift bags and speakers’ profile book
▪ Name and logo on a partnership page in the official TEDxBUET website.
▪ Sponsors can give any kind of gifts to the attendees and speakers.
▪ Sponsors can include company brochures/business cards within the gift hampers.

Note: The contents of the gifts and brochures will need to be approved by the TEDxBUET security committee.

Terms and Conditions

▪ Every benefit of the sponsors will be given accordance with TEDx guidelines.
▪ After confirmation, the companies will have to sign a contract letter for agreement.
▪ The total amount of sponsorship payment must be ensured before the program. The payment
is mandatory to be ensured 1 month before the event date.
▪ After receiving the sponsorship money if the event get cancelled for any unavoidable situation
the TEDxBUET committee will payback the 75% the received amount within a month from the
day event get cancelled.
