QUANTUM MAX FBSD Service Tool Features

Simple tool operation…Two (2) tool position during pumping

operations – Set Down and Reverse
– Once service tool is released from the packer and pulled above the
set down collar, it is impossible to return to the RIH position.
– The Set Down Circulating and Set Down Squeeze positions are
supported by the same Set Down Collar in the housing extension.

Position of the full bore set down ball in the service tool dictates the
difference between circulating and squeeze positions.

High Set Down Capacity: 9-5/8” size - 150,000 lbs; 7” and 7-5/8” size –
90,000lbs

Internal workstring pressure is used to set the packer, release

the service tool, and blow the ball seat.
– The contingency, should the service tool not release hydraulically,
is to rotate (to the right) out of the packer bore.
