Promote Safe Return to the community in order to establish the relationships and referrals for
clients. Advise treatment staff in all four Safe Return programs. Facilitate crisis trainings to
police departments throughout New Jersey. Ensure facility compliance for funding source
and Volunteers of America Delaware Valley. Supervise staff to guarantee quality of treatment.

Substance Abuse Counselor Intern: Volunteers of America: Camden, NJ – 2017-Present

Provide addiction counseling to participants/groups of the re-entry program. Coordinate

intake and level of care/assessments for new clients. Collaborate and establish new program
for Volunteers of America, to integrate the Safe Return Initiative into Camden, NJ. Manage a
caseload of fifty clients.

Substance Abuse Case Manager: Volunteers of America: Camden, NJ– 2016-2017

Manage caseload of over twenty-five incarcerate clients. Perform assessments within two-
day period. Identify targeted treatment plans and modalities. Document bi-weekly sessions,
update treatment plans monthly. Facilitate three hour group therapy session, three times a
week to thwart substance abuse and recidivism rate.

Case Manager Intern: Oaks Integrated Care: Mt. Holly, NJ – 2015-2016

Facilitating group therapy sessions to clients with co-occurring disorders. Manage caseload
of consumers. Document weekly progress notes, clinical care assessments, and treatment
plans.
